I play seasons during WL, it's much more reasonable as most of the master cheesers are in WL.
It's how the game is and will stay going forward most likely. The proliferation of ebooks and the championship matches featuring very repetitive nature plays means that more people adopt them because it's shown to be effective. Basically going off meta means frustration if you take the game too seriously.
Part of the game and you just have accept it. I would rather lose every game before I evever pull the stunts these dudes do for wins
Quote from NinerNation >> If two players are running the meta, the better player with the better stick / adjustments will still win.
If you’re not running the meta, you should be enjoying the game, not worrying about wins and losses, and not caring about how your opponent plays.
^^^^^^^ Stick to seasons, SC and Draft Champions. WL is Meta vs. Meta and all defensive plays have a counter. Now trying to stop Dickerson is something I understand complaining about...
I like imaginary trophies, but I've definitely played my last WL this year. I just can't find any joy in it. I think last time I attempted to play it was maybe a month ago or longer. I got to 7 wins, got DC glitched 4 times in a row! Then I began to get matched up with stretch spammers, and I decided it wasn't worth it and quit right there.
I'm a very casual Fifa player, but WL there is a lot different than here. I'm sure there is meta, and I'm sure there is cheesing, but in the little I've played it, it's actually been enjoyable. The match up system actually works, so you're not gonna run into a God squad often. The game isn't as glitchy or buggy as Madden, which is a surprise considering they belong to the same Evil Empire. Other than maybe squads once in a while, I can't say I get much enjoyment out of playing Madden 20 online. It's a shame, because previous years I considered myself primarily an online player, but this year I can't even say that.
It honestly feels like H2H is just glitch exploitation most games. Crossers, run wide. Same defenses over and over. Real frustrating experience which is why I don't play more and quit a ton when I realize it'll just be an exercise in frustration.
Honestly, I'm not interested in studying a video game at a PhD level like some either.
Yeah i like beating the guys who try this shit. Its part of the game. They aren't going away. They are a bunch of dochebags though. Its not my fault you suck and your glitchy asa youtube defense won't work. Getting fucking good. They hate when you say that.
You can run anything you want to against me, and it's my job to stop it. I can run anything I want against you, and it is your job to stop it. If someone resorts to pause glitching or DC glitching to get wins, that's when I would use the term "pathetic". If I run Pinch buck O out of the 3-4 Bear and get a sack and you come back out in the same formation, guess what I'm running again. If you come out in cover 4 show 2 out of the 3-4 and I run an inside zone for 10 yards and you come back out with the same formation, I will do the same. That's the way the game works. 90% of the players on Madden run a 3-5 play scheme. If their scheme gets shut down, they usually quit. If I can find a fast way to shut down what you want to do, why wouldn't I? If I see you come out in an empty set, you can bet your ass I'm coming out in mid blitz and usering the WR that I think you are going to throw to, but you'll probably get sacked before you get a chance to throw the ball. I'm not gonna come out in a cover 4 and give you all day to throw only for you to not find anything open and scramble with Lamar for 40 yards. As Herm Edwards said, "You play to win the game!" The key word is play. The glitchers are pathetic. I welcome any other type of player though.

Agree with this

Seriously WL is a grind. All I'm trying to do is get a fast W. I'm going to beat you anyways, so I might as well make it a fast as possible.
I'm not going to give EA or any of their coin sites a dirty penny playing MUT. So time is coins. I'd rather beat you three times 14-0 in the first quarter then playing a game where you quit in the third quarter when I go up 31-7. I'll have 'fun' playing with someone else who know what they are doing.
You need to learn how to counter & use the cheese. Remember not every game of John Madden football will be pretty! Discover the art of dashboarding. Also learn how to make a DC glitched game count as a W.
I feel great especially when I cause someone to not get As many imaginary trophies As me

Couldn’t imagine my life being that pathetic
I'm pathetic. The only joy I get out of life is winning imaginary trophies!
