So i heard "wildcat" made wl.....

Unplayable with Hester ?

43 wide 9 and over plus will destroy that nonsense!!!

I dont run cover 4 drop show 2...not my style. I have learned to run certain plays against certain formations. I hate those that run the same blitz every play

That doesn't doesn't get ran over?

No.  The two dbs coming in on the edges makes is similar  to wide 4-3.  I can't remember how I figured it out either since I don't use Dollar except when someone calls Wildcat.

I've been running Run N Gun Wildcat as 80% of my H2H offense for three Maddens. 90% this year.

I normally just run it once, maybe twice a game, sometimes works as a suprise play.

You really need to run it 90%+ of the time and build your team around it - get high end Tackles in at TE, and guys like Marcedes Lewis, full power up Kittle in at WR.

And don't give up, it's often 2 tackles for loss and then a 70 yard TD. User makes one mistake and you are gone.

With the Hester, it definitely was quite annoying.

I had no problem stopping it with Hester running it.  Now Hester burned me deep several times catching the ball in double coverage like we was the world's best WR.  I had more problem with that than some wildcat cheese.

Its in a few playbooks but not playbooks ppl use. It's a "thing" now because of the pats playbook which i knew would be bad.

Quote from charmcityrob >> I’ve used the Run N Gun playbook for the last 3 years and use Wildcat a good bit.  I go at least 10-3 or 13-3 in WL every week depending on how much time I have.

Anyone offense can be shutdown but if you can adjust to the defense you will burn them.  The new double team mechanic really helps and the blocking in Run n Gun Wildcat is superior not to mention the variety of plays compared to the crap in Patriots, Falcons or Panthers.  Putting high RBK TEs (87+) in the right places is the key. Evasive and Leapfrog made Wildcat fun again, Human Joystick makes it ridiculous in the right hands.  The same people that will criticize people for running Wildcat will come out in Goal Line all game just waiting to a HB Dive for a long run or run Stretch all game.

Quote from vucomedy >> Hester is def NOT the move.  I made him fumble in two different kick off return hit sticks, and 2 guys tried running wildcat with him and was instant failure.

When I saw someone wasted a spot making him the abilities and not Erick Dickerson....... instant smile.

Just make sure and use a spread out Defense

That's why 43 wide 9 is the best. Been my Wildcat defense for years. Started using over plus because I saw someone on twitch lock it upup from that formation.

Switch adjustment to "focus on QB for the option". Be safe and put a speedy safety as SubLB as a spy. It went for one big play against me in WL with the user sidestepping with Kenny G. Swapped to the other D every time he showed wildcat and it was just tackle for loss beacuse they never optioned the ball to the half back. I am a .500 player so I am probably not getting matched up with the "elite" players but it was stoppable for me and I user the deep safety and let my LBs do the dirty work.

3-3-5 nickel works for me

ofc, i user the fastest def player i have on my squad

yeah I ran into someone doing it to no success, he took the first carry for like 50 yards and after that it was clamps, he quit down 21-0 in the second quarter and hester had 8 carries for 12 yards lol
