Do you get beat by a better offensive opponent or defensive opponent?
For me its defensive. I consider myself a good offensive player with a nice passing and running scheme. However if I play someone with a great defensive scheme then its usually game over especially if they get an int or fumble returned for a TD.
I can stop any offense and do not come across many players that make me say "wow his offensive scheme and stick skills won the game for him."
I will usually win a shootout- but can almost never pull ahead of a tight defensive battle against a player with a good scheme and stick skillz.
