EA couldn’t handle building this. It would be far easier for them to just allow every team chem on the mut master and level master cards.
Why not both?
Its a fun idea and as long as it doesn’t take them too long to design the model, I’d be all for it. Remember, Kraelo said it takes 40 hours just to build a single power up card. What a huge waste of resources. Take all the power up cards (around 500) and think how many total hours is spent (20,000!) just on those cards that could be spent making the actual gameplay better.
There is no way EA could set that up without absolutely ridiculous cards being the result. No thanks.
How? It follows the 1-1 ration they generally utilize when upgrading cards in general. And the point of it is to have a ridiculous card that you earned.
The overall formula used in other game modes of Madden does not correspond with MUT. The MUT overall is often way higher than a player with those ratings would be on a regular team in Madden.
IDK if you noticed, but powerups work almost exactly this way.

No. For power ups, EA has actively decided what the ratings should be at each tier. Are you suggesting they do that for every player in the game? If so, I have misunderstood your first post. I think EA would be too lazy to go through that for every player.
Its formulaic, its really simple. Same way chemistry adds +1 speed, -1 acceleration.
Take a Quarterback for example, instead of adjusting everything lets say only core QB attributes and physical attributes. They have the resources to pull it off. Chemistry and Power Ups have proven this.

My idea for giving us a reward for long term loyalty and something to grind for later in the MUT Season.
It’s a combination of MUT Master and Golden Tickets.
Requirements
200 Daily Objectives 150,000 Total Yards 5,000 Touchdowns 500 Takeaways 500 Field Goals made 10 Kickoff Touchdowns 5 Punt Return Touchdowns 200 Head to Head wins or Solo equivalent
Because of the amount of daily objectives I’m okay with the stat totals since we can simply play and not have to grind until the end. Also I feel you should only get credit for stats accumulated through H2H, Solo Battles, Draft Champs, Salary Cap, Squads or House Rules. No repeating a solo, it defeats the purpose of earning it.
So after completion you unlock a set and receive a token. You go into the set and put the token in one slot and in the other you put the card to want to make your Ultimate Master. This card can be any card in the game.
The stat boosts will come from the difference between 99 and the current overall. If you pick a 79 overall player, every stat will automatically increase by +20 no matter what. So a 75 speed guy now has 95 speed for example.
This will allow us to get an update version of a card that will go overlooked. Will at least give every user a unique card of their own. It’s perfect for God squads, theme teams, no money spent, etc...
