That's the answer is it seems under supported by EA. MUT is all about creating an addiction to buy packs. They should just rename it Pack Man.
When I did the Sean Taylor grind, I thought I was going to hate Salary mode, but I actually really enjoyed it. TBH, sometimes it's actually more fun building your team than just playing with it. The cool thing was that no one had the players I was using, and I played a different type of team each time.
The other issue is that, because it's a true competitive mode where you're forced to lock your lineup (AND it costs coins to enter if you don't win a certain amount of games every time), there is an artificial barrier to entry that makes it inaccessible to a degree.

I would like to see it pushed as the main mode but I know they want to make as much money as possible. If you win you get your tickets back so it's not that bad.

Also--I think the gameplay is better too in SC. Matchups matter, as opposed to unlimited. I hope the ST chem dies in a fire.
If there were a way to get Kraelo or Jake Stein or Mutguru to peep this thread, that'd be nice.
I got rid of my team and decided to switch to Salary cap a week or two ago, figured I'd play a game every couple of days. I'm now obsessed and spend my time at work thinking about my lineup. I haven't had too much trouble finding games, but I tend to play h2h during peak EST hours. It's everything I like about MUT--team building, min/maxing without the "keeping up with the jones'" treadmill of mut unlimited. I really think it just needs better rewards, a la MUT drafts.
Also, a +50 cap increase would be nice, if only so i could fit the new Eli into my lineup.

It's the whole collecting cards thing. Some people like collecting their favorite players, some their favorite team, while others really strive to have the latest and greatest cards as soon as they drop. I have spent a lot of time (and a little money) to get my team where it is at now. I am proud of it... even though I know in a month or two it will be completely worthless.

SC is fun, and it levels the playing field for players that don't have a lot of time to grind or money to spend. However... while I did have quite a bit of fun creating a "legitimate" SC lineup, I still feel like my regular lineup is my baby. I have nurtured her all year, and she is now a monster :)

Plus... you have to realize another really big thing that a lot of people don't like. A lot of people SUCK. If they don't have their GOD SQUADS, they get whooped. There is a reason why some people literally spend thousands of dollars a year on this game. Sure, some of them are legit players, but a lot of them can't compete if they don't have the best card at every position.

Same. Unfortunately it's plain MUT that sells the game and nothing else.
Also, I think the competitive side of EA needs to solidify SC as the main tourney mode throughout the year. It doesn't help when the year starts out with regs h2h.
Probably no reason to list the grievances at this point, as they are well known and never addressed. An odd turn considering that it was a touted feature two years ago and it's still used in tournaments. The only mode I care to play but no reason to bring it back next year if this is how it's going to be run/ignored.
