The 92 overall 48 cap culpepper is my go to, throw power is insane and he doesn't miss
I use 91 Go Deep chem Warren Moon. I have 90 OVR Twitch Prime Culpepper. Would he be better?
When I needed my Cap wins for Sean Taylor, I used the Twitch Prime Daunte Culpepper. I was used to Brady, so there were some timing throws where Daunte was way off, but 82 SPD and 91 THP is pretty good for the cap space. Went 10-3 with him.
I use OOP P Brady and def agree he is extremely serviceable-- unless your scheme def incorporates a mobile QB I highly recc for sal cap-- slap 11 sal cap Austin Davis as your starter an sub Brady in at beginning of game
1 important key-- don't forget to sub lol...been there, done that
Having used every iteration of QBs in cap mode, I really think there are only two that rise above the rest:
93 Ultimate Legend Vick Easily the best CAP QB to me. Once you get him to Tier 4 Move The Sticks he is as good as any pocket passer in the game and can run and throw on run in the unfair way Vick does this year. His cap cost is 58 but he plays like a 70 cap player. https://www.muthead.com/18/players/32006-mike-vick
87 OOP Punter Tom Brady Well this one comes with some complexity, as you have to sub your Punter in at QB, but for 16 cap it's worth it. He can operate a run first/short pass offense fine and he's a decent punter. Even when you add the 11 you have to add for a low cap starting QB, he's better than any 27 cap QB and he's a decent punter. https://www.muthead.com/18/players/27543-tom-brady
There are a few Honorable Mentions. 87 OVR Dan Marino is 37 CAP and ALMOST makes all the throws: https://www.muthead.com/18/players/21404-dan-marino
