You can have Tannenbaum lol.

Cleveland Browns: The Browns thing to do would be to remove the interim tag on the Bounty. Gase would be a nice fit but he'll clash immediately with Landry, will want roster control, and players started to hate him here even though they were his guys.
Green Bay Packers: Whoever comes in has to keep the original defense and let A-Rod be A-Rod. Zac Taylor I've been hearing that even though he's green (no pun intended), he's got history in GB and comes from the McVay line.
Cincinnati Bengals: Marvin Lewis should've been canned a long time ago. But he'll instantly make a quality DC if interested. At this point, Bengals need to start again from scratch. Dalton is a game manager at this point and his throws are getting WR's injured.
NY Jets: I don't know what Todd Bowles did to warrant a HC hire. He was average as a Phins DC. He needed to be gone and Jets need someone to fix Darnold, who could trend as the next failed $C QB. I hope they hire Jeff Fisher, Hue Jackson, or David Shaw.

Yea! I wanted Steve gone since last season!
Sark the Drunk should've never been hired.
Quote from Namtih21 >> Quote from bruinrogue >> Wilks gets just 1 year in Arizona. Kinda sad but he's shown he has no business being a HC.
He's a solid DC. But overmatched as a head coach. What was bad is that the Cardinals were bad in all phases, even defense, which is his strength. Remember he was only one year as a DC. Some people are able to move up that ladder surprisingly quick, others need more time. Hopefully he gets another chance later down the line once he's seasoned some more.

Bevel nearly won back-to-back Super Bowls.
Then decided to pass instead...........

Why not a clean sweep?
.. course, I just want Quinn as GBs D-coordinator.

I'm just hoping that Fangio stays with Chicago and doesnt take a HC job somewhere. Hes a really good DC, really hope we keep him.
Dan Campbell, former interim coach of the Dolphins, and current TE's coach and assistant head coach for the Saints, is interviewing for HC job in Cleveland and Green Bay.
He'll actually be a good hire for someone. Don't know if those are his fits, but he'll be a good head coach.
at first glance i thought maybe gruden enjoyed his time working with mayock on like draft day or whatever, but it can't be that either. they're from different networks too. i don't get it
Quote from dolphaholic >> Quote from misk53 >> Man I hope Gase doesnβt become the Packers head coach.
he'll win multiple super bowls in green bay/cleveland. you can count on that.
i cannot tell everyone how pissed off i am
I'd love to see Gase in GB, if for no other reason than seeing Rodgers run
Quote from Namtih21 >> Quote from aarons444 >> The Mayock hire is hysterical!
The man has ZERO personnel experience. NONE. If these draftniks were meant to be personnel people, Mel Kiper would have beat Mayock to this 2 or 3 decades ago.
.. I want no part of McDaniels. Which means the Packers will probably hire him tomorrow. And I'll be forced to hope he leaves us at the alter as well.

yeah I'm surprised about McDaniels. I'd expect better from the Packers.
Re: Mayock. It reminds me slightly of the John Lynch hire in SF. And he hasn't done too badly. With a horde of picks the Raiders can't go wrong, and Gruden's talent assessments have been, well, lackluster. It'll be interesting.

So....this has certainly been a big morning change wise. At minimum a full 1/4 of the league will have a new head coach.
So the following teams have head coaching openings:
Cleveland Browns: Goodbye Hue Jackson (Browns fans and Baker Mayfield rejoice). I think Gregg Williams stands a STRONG chance of staying though.
Green Bay Packers: Goodbye Mike McCarthy. Aaron Rodgers will hand pick his head coach. Gase?
Cincinnati Bengals: Goodbye Marvin Lewis. This change is happening about 3 years too late. Likely an entire rebuild on its way. I think Dalton will be out the door too.
NY Jets: Goodbye Todd Bowles.
