NFL QB Matchup Johnny Unitas v Brett Favre
Unitas is a top QB of all time. I think he'd beat the majority of guys on this list. However, Favre is one of the few guys that I think is better than Unitas. Favre's arm talent is arguably the greatest of all time. He altered what it meant to be a gunslinger.
I think if you gave these guys the exact same team and had them play each other, Favre's team would come out on top.
11 pro bowl appearances is nothing to laugh at. Even though super rings dont mean everything, Brett has one to boast of. Unitas. He has a career 6.7 AY/A compared to Favre's 6.6. Favre was good at avoiding sacks, but its likely Unitas was too. And that's without accounting for era differences.

Changed.. Brett.. U may initially think Brett threw to many interceptions.. well he did but when u look at how many times he threw the ball its not bad at all. His ratio is actually great.. 10,000 attempts.. Brett had a great great career indeed..

Now this is a good one. Unitas changed the QB position. Brett Favre played the position like no one else. I believe Favre could give Marino a run for his money in terms of greatest arm of all time.
If I had to pick one in their prime to go win me a game I'd choose Favre.
This one has been my favorite one so far.
