Mock Draft 3.0!

Here is my final Mock Draft Version! Sharing only the first round with you guys, and maybe use it to help get an idea where some guys might go in the draft. Enjoy it with a few trades, including a big one involving a player:

  1. Bengals - Joe Burrow; QB, LSU: If the Bengals hold onto Andy Dalton, it may be because they want Burrow to get used to NFL offenses and develop
  2. Redskins - Chase Young; DE, OSU: I don't buy the Skins are interested in drafting Tua and will look to improve a developing defense with the best prospect in the draft
  3. Chargers (from Lions) - Tua Tagovailoa; QB, Alabama: The Chargers get their QB by bypassing the Dolphins by trading the 6th pick, a 2nd rounder and a third rounder next year to the Lions for the rights to the 3rd overall pick
  4. Giants - Isaiah Simmons; LB, Clemson: The Giants need to find a Le as we for the defense side of the ball, and that’s what Simmons can bring to them besides being a versital player playing linebacker or safety.
  5. Dolphins - Justin Herbert; QB, Oregon: While they miss out on Tua, the Dolphins will be ok drafting the most NFL ready QB in Herbert.
  6. Lions (from Chargers) - Jeff Okuda; CB, OSU: Despite trading down a few spots, the Lions still grab the guy that will improve a secondary that just lost their best player in Daryius Slay.
  7. Panthers - Derrick Brown; DT, Auburn: Brown has everything he needs to be considered a Top 3 pick in any draft, so Carolina will happily take him 7th overall.
  8. Cardinals - Tristian Wirfs; OT, Iowa: The Cardinals all the weapons to put up points each week, but unless they can protect Kyler Murray that all won't matter. Wirfs has everything a team wants in that kind of player: big, powerful and can handle anyone that goes up against him
  9. Jaguars - Xavier McKinney; S, Alabama: The Jaguars are in complete rebuild mode and the secondary is where it needs to start. McKinney fits the scheme for the Jags a bit better than most defensive players do.
  10. Browns - Jedrick Wills; OT, Alabama: The Browns have nearly all the pieces to have a solid offense, all the need is a solid right tackle. Wills is the best OT on the board so it would shock me if Cleveland doesn't go this route.
  11. Jets - Jerry Jeudy; WR, Alabama: With Robby Anderson on his way to Carolina, the Jets need to get Sam Darnold receivers. Jeudy is one of the best receiving prospects to come out and perfectly fits the Jets.
  12. Raiders - CeeDee Lamb; WR, Oklahoma: The Antonio Brown experiment didn't work out the way anyone thought it would, and the Raiders are still looking for that true #1 receiver.
  13. 49ers (from Colts) - Mekhi Brown; OT, Louisville: Joe Staley is getting up there in age so it might be a good idea to start looking for his replacement soon.
  14. Buccaneers - Andrew Thomas; OT, Georgia: The Bucs won the Tom Brady sweepstakes, now they need to protect him. While he didn't have a good combine, I still think Thomas is one of the top prospects this year and won't disappoint whoever drafts him.
  15. Broncos - CJ Henderson; CB, Florida: After losing Chris Harris in free agency the Broncos don't have a shutdown #1 corner and will need to get a new one to go head to head with all the solid receivers in their division.
  16. Jaguars (From Falcons) - K'Lavon Chasson; DE, LSU: Atlanta trades the 16th pick in the draft to the Jaguars for star DE Yannick Ngakue and a 4th round pick. The Jaguars will use this to get a fresh young pass rusher to rebuild the line in Chasson who had a solid career at LSU.
  17. Cowboys - Grant Delpit; S, LSU: While they did sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix away from the Bears, the Cowboys need to find second safety that will help in the pass game on defense.
  18. Dolphins (from Steelers) - Kenneth Murray; LB, Oklahoma: With the second of 3 first round picks the Dolphins figure they can use one of the them on a linebacker that always knows where the ball carrier is hoping to end up.
  19. Raiders (from Bears) - Patrick Queen; LB, LSU: The Raiders would love to grab a player like Murray, but with him off the board they will take a shot at Queen to fill the hole they have.
  20. Jaguars (from Rams) - DeAndre Swift; RB, Georgia: It seems like Leonard Fournette is on his way out, so the Jags will help out his workload by drafting a back who is the college opposite of him with more power and speed in Swift.
  21. Eagles - Henry Ruggs; WR, Alabama: The fastest WR in the draft will help an Eagles team that really became thin late in the season and hurt their chances of making a deep postseason run.
  22. Vikings - AJ Terrell; : The Vikings don't seem to have that strong secondary to help them make a deep playoff run, but a pick like this can change that. Terrell has a solid build to be a guy Minnesota needs to overtake Green Bay as the team to beat in the North
  23. Patriots - Jake Fromm; QB, Georgia: The Tom Brady era is over so now the question becomes who will be the new starter for New England? Jake Fromm had an interesting college career, and may be just what the Patriots want in their new QB, someone who can read defenses well and has a solid arm.
  24. Saints - Jalen Reager; WR, TCU: Outside of Michael Thomas, there isn't a real threat when facing the Saints passing game. If they want to get Drew Brees one last Super Bowl run, they need weapons.
  25. Vikings - Javon Kinlaw; DT, South Carolina: With Linval Joseph gone, the Vikings need to find that solid force to put in the middle of an already solid D-Line.
  26. Dolphins (from Texans) - Jonathan Taylor; RB, Wisconsin: Kenyan Drake didn't work out for Miami, so now they need to find their next workhouse back. Thankfully they can take the nest RB in the draft in Jonathan Taylor.
  27. Seahawks - Llyod Cushenberry; C, LSU: The Seahawks need help on the inside of their O-Line and the best available at this spot is Cushenberry.
  28. Ravens - AJ Epenesa; LB, Iowa: A solid pass rusher who can also play some decent pass coverage, something the Ravens need to make a deep run into the playoffs.
  29. Titans - Yetur Gross-Matos; DE, Penn State: The Titans questionably traded away their best pass rusher in Jurrell Casey so that now becomes a position of need for the runner up in the AFC.
  30. Packers - Justin Jefferson; WR, LSU: Jefferson broke out last year helping Burrow become the best passer in college, and maybe is what Aaron Rodgers needs to return to Top Tier status.
  31. 49ers - Laviska Shenault; WR, Colorado: If the 49ers want to get their money's worth for Jimmy Garrappolo, they need to do a better job at getting him weapons to throw to.
  32. Chiefs - JK Dobbins; RB, OSU: While they do have a solid run game in Damien Williams, it wouldn't huts to have another great back like Dobbins to help the already powerful offense.
