With the recent news of Philip Rivers announcing his retirement from the NFL after 17 seasons, EA has released a 97 OVR LTD Philip Rivers in MUT to honor his career. Rivers' latest item is a Field General QB Archetype with 96 THP, 97 SAC, 96 MAC, 94 DAC, and 93 TUP ratings. Tribute Rivers is only available in packs for a limited time (usually 48 hrs but no official word from EA yet on when he will be removed). Check out LTD Rivers and his full ratings below:

This week's new Legends are Marshal Yanda and Asante Samuel. Yanda played his entire career with the Ravens and his LTD item is a Power RG with ratings of 96 STR, 98 PBK, 98 RBK, and 96 RBP. Asante Samuel played for the Patriots, Eagles, and Falcons during his 11 NFL seasons. His LTD item is a Zone CB Archetype and boasts notable ratings of 95 SPD, 96 ACC, 97 ZCV, and 95 MCV. Theme team or not, both of today's Legends should be able to make a lot of squads out there, assuming you've been saving your coins because they won't be cheap!

The LTD versions of Marshal Yanda and Asante Samuel can be found in packs until 1/25 at 10 AM ET. The Boss version of each player can be earned by completing their corresponding set, which requires all 5 non-Boss Legend versions (88-94 OVR). You will need 1x 94 OVR, 1x 92 OVR, and 2x each of the 90 OVR, 89 OVR, and 88 OVR editions to complete the set. The Power Up version of each Legend can be earned by completing their Legends Release 23 Solo Challenge. Take on Legends Showdown #26 to earn a Legends Token needed for the upgrade set.
