It did that to me last year as well. It hasn’t happened this year. Only the situation where it said one down on film. However, the technical down was something else.

I’d actually prefer them have both. That would be better in my opinion.

I’ve had similar problems last year. However, in my experience The down is more complex than what the film shows. For example short down is 0- 3.9999 if I’m not mistaken. So although film may show 4th and 4 it could’ve been 3.9999 and the game used your short down plays instead of long. It’s very tedious, and that is one thing I don’t like. It’s hard to account for that. Especially when “no gain” means they gained yardage 🙄
