Becoming more and more convinced they’re now trying to chase away players who still pay to play. Leaking out misleading information is a new low though… even for them.

Thanks for letting me know what is going on - much appreciated. Doesn’t make me any less pissed off about EA and the completely ridiculous way they’ve handled this player’s progression. At least be up front about it when the field pass comes out so we don’t waste our money trying to build level 5 players WHO CAN”T BE BUILT. Or how about after getting him to level 4 that there is some sort of a flashing sign that appears to say DON”T BUILD ANY MORE SHARDS FOR THIS PLAYER rather than letting me waste my resources on 1 of the 3 shards needed for the last level. It really does seem like they’re done chasing away f2p guys and now their focus is on chasing away guys who still spend $100’s on this game.

Deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and still nothing. Waited for the day reset and still nothing. WTF?! EA is really not going to allow us to finish the level 5 build? What a complete waste of resources. If they’re now trying to chase away people who pay than congratulations?

I went for Saquon because of how much he helps my run game - especially in lvl. He’s really dominant. It was a tough decision though as Waller would be really fun to use in the pass game but really happy with Saquon. I didn’t consider Decker yet because, for the first couple of guys at least, I wanted guys who’ll improve my enjoyment of the game for the next 8 weeks.

Anybody have any insight on boosts for last 5?

S8 is when you can really start getting them… 15 Badges if you exchange the 3 x 102’s (Woodson & Johnson). Obviously you won’t do that right away but by S9 I’m sure guys will be exchanging them to get a max players.
