Thanks for the input guys! I was wondering why everyone seems to be using Garrett as their coach. Is it simply for his offensive tactics that boost the run blocking stats? It seems that the other smash mouth coaches offer more money run plays than him. I’m not implying that Garrett isn’t good, just curious as to why he’s popular amongst top players.

I love the addition of schemes and coaches this year, and thought that this idea could be expanded further into next season. Hopefully someone at EA will see this post and at least consider some of these ideas. Here's my list 1. Keep the 4 current playbook types, but don't have them attached to a specific captain. You should be able to select your playbook from the My Team tab. Use any playbook with any captain and coach combo. 2. Rebrand "Scheme" into "Chemistry" This has been done on console. Expand the 4 current schemes (WC, Vert, Smashmouth, Spread) into 4 offensive and 4 defensive chemistries. There will be a total of 8 chemistries. Being that there are 32 NFL teams, each chemistry can have 4 possible coaches and captains at launch. I've done a mockup of the coach/captain chemistry distribution below. Keep in mind that there are far more Offensive coaches (especially WC offensive coaches) than Defensive coaches in the NFL, so some coaches may seem out of place to accommodate for the 4 Coaches/Chemistry rule to keep things fair amongst the chemistries.

the only info we're missing is the play style each card is associated with

Does anyone know if this exceptions apply to the easter masters as well, or is it only a Watson thing as of now?

I've been thinking about replacing my 102ovr OOP Mike Evans and have been labbing in All Pro H2H to test performance for LVL (I'm assuming LVL is All Pro). It seems to me that certain routes will beat man coverage no matter how good the CB is. My mediocre receiving core (97 LVL Dez, 104 SB Gronk) seem to dominate corners with man coverage and athletic stats above 100. My theory is that no corner plays shutdown man coverage regardless of stats at all pro. Plays such as corner strike, curl flats, pin deep, te trips slants are programmed to beat man coverage no matter what. If anyone has any insight on this (I will be glad to be proven wrong, just want the correct information) I'd appreciate it!

TE gets open on flipped Spread Slot Flags, especially against cover 0 cause the dime back glitches out and stands still for a couple seconds, allowing your TE to run past them.
