Coming from MLB the Show I had hopes that M23 would be comparable as far as gameplay, menus, music, you know the details. Unfortunately Sony is light years ahead of EA. M23 isn't a bad game, but it clearly still in beta being released as final. There's a plethora of problems currently. All this guy would need to do is play the game. You don't need reviews when the problems are as clear as they are.... Hell, playing UT feels like I'm playing remotely. The whole thing feels half-asked but then again MLB the Show kind of shines like no other, I just figured EA would be able to match that type of precision.

Let it go. He showed up to give us a glimmer of hope, but let's be honest here, this guy said he helped make OD so that should tell you all right there that he doesn't understand anything about this community or football for that matter. Let's all just bank on the hope that another company will make a real football game.

Quote from BeebeFan >> This may be a pipe dream, but I hope that some type of gifting can return to Leagues. I know that such a system carries a risk for a certain type of illegal activity, but one of the best things about my league in past seasons was me and the admins/commish would send a pro pack to anyone who scored more than 24 in LvL. We also awarded a special pack (like red zone, legend, whatever was available) to whoever could post the highest score in a season game during a designated time period. I feel like if a system of gifting that had some protections from abuse/illegal activity, like having to be a member of the league for 5 levels, only one gift per day or even 72 hours or something, then the risks can be nearly eliminated. The benefits would far outweigh those minimal risks. Morale would increase, more players would play more aspects of the game (high score in survival or season game, highest score using certain coach/capt combos, intra-league tournaments...so many ways to challenge each other and reward effort and skill). League bank is NOT the same thing.

Quote from EA_Ferwerda >> As the thread title states, this is something we see on MH and Reddit all the time, so I figured I'd take a couple moments and give some context around why things are done certain ways, on certain timelines, or why that one thing you really think should be addressed hasn't been. First thing's first... Releasing new items, new players or even a program, doesn't mean that something else isn't being worked on. We don't have one giant 1 - 100 list of things that we address and when we work on one thing it is at the sacrifice of something else. We have different folks on the team who have different areas of focus who work through different backlogs. As an example, gameplay issues require a completely different skillset than releasing some new items or packs into the game.

Quote from Tdacpop >> but hear me out. I think I found a way to finally contribute to the community. It could be a great help or I could be totally wrong. Sometimes in life, you just have to roll the dice. It has been pointed out by many that it will be difficult to get more than 1 ironclad offensive player. Maybe that is the point. I was thinking why would they stop ironclad after just one set of players. Maybe the next group will be defensive lineman. If that is the case, there might be quite a few ironclad events with new sets of players(defensive backs, special teams, etc.). Here is where it gets interesting. What if I am right about this and each of the sets use the same collectibles(fire, tongs, anvils and hammers). If so, the next set of players might be more valuable to your team depending on your individual needs. So I am considering not building any of the current set of players and waiting for the next set. It could also be a way to make coins. If you have enough collectibles to build one of the players almost as soon as the sets drop, you could sell for a nice profit. So I may be an evil genius or a complete fool. You decide.

Quote from sell_canada >> Quote from Waterchickens31 >> I'm not going out and filling the shopping cart, but think for a moment about some of the things EA has done this year with previous Masters. NYE - old Master/Bosses to 95 CC - Bring back old Masters to current 98 status Could they do the same with the GOM's?

Quote from BigSlick >> Since a few updates ago running seems to be damn near impossible getting sacked 80% of the time. Hell I'm lucky if 10% of plays even gains a yard. It's not like I have a weak OLine either. While most Oline players are retard and the FB doesn't block the closest player the real reason is that the RB doesn't start off full speed but the defenders do. Therefore the play is 95% dictated on the play call before the snap

Quote from stag12phd >> For all those complaining about a single play removed, this has happened before and it's to help balance out the fairness and competitiveness. If you all who build up Harbaugh in order to take advantage of this were affected, that sucks for you. But EA has done this before, and they will do it again. A few days ago we were getting posts about how it wasn't fair, now it's a non stop stream of complaining when they try to balance it. If you cannot play the game because a single play was removed, than you really need to re-evaluate your skill sets Every game has their advantages and its at the company's discretion to adjust the game accordingly. However when you force players to invest into things like coaches and captains to get plays and bonuses then as a company you should be obligated to adjust things and not just remove them. These players invested a lot to get that coach up and even if it was just for that play it doesn't matter. To remove the play altogether just shows they never tested their product. ... And as far as "its happened before" .. well we didn't have to invest heavily to get the plays they were there as long as we reached a certain level.
