Agreed, unless you have a load of coins to invest. I did the random set around 12 times (I don’t have a load of coins to invest) and got 1 grand, 2 medium the rest small. If that’s your candy limit. I would say buy one grand egg straight out and then chuck the rest in to the random set and hope for the best.

Arguably because a number of people will pick up the game in the run up to or during the super bowl. I bought my first copy of madden 2 years ago in the run up to the SB as it was also on a deal.    These cards to a lot of us will do nothing. But to those just starting the game pulling such high cards to go with their 70s will give them the initial feelings of team building and how good players stand out compared to golds. Then we get hooked on ultimate team and buy year after year.    All very clever really.

I think given they already quicksell for 1 tp, they are unlikely to be used for anything else.    Will hold on to my spares just in case. But fully expecting 1 training point per blitz ticket.

I had a similar problem.    It crashed a couple of times and then when I completed it, it didn’t give me the win.    Read on here that someone removed the rookie premier players from their line up and then it was fine.    I did that today. And all was fine.

If you trade in 2 tokens (can’t remember if it’s gold or silver) in to the ghost of madden set you get a choice of three players. Vick is one of them and there are two others.    They can be upgraded to to a higher overall using only training. This can be useful as you can use only training to build higher ovr players to complete an elite token.    Elite tokens can then put in to the rookie premier set for more rookie tokens. OR. If you have a good amount of gold cards as well. You can build a number of gold tokens as well and put all of these tokens in to the NFL draft night player set. Giving you anything from a 95 and above. If you get lucky it can work nicely. (I did not get lucky but sold off my returns to just buy what I needed).   I hope that’s clear. Or at least you understand most of it to work out what I’m suggesting!

In my opinion I would be going for the 500 coins get a player pack.    If you are going for silver and gold tokens then everyone you pull is going to be useful.

Trade in the 92s to make the tokens.    Trade in 10 tokens for the 99 version of a rookie.    The rookie transfers to 20.

It all depends on the user.    If you spend a bit of cash on upgrading your team and play quite a bit then I could see them not holding too much value.    But for me, I spend no money in game and only spend maybe an hour or so a day on average grinding some solos chilling out in the evening.    Some of my rookies didn’t hold up too long even for me, but Barkley was the obvious stand out until I got Ricky up to a good level. Hayden Hurst albeit a nothing year for him in real life held up nicely at TE for me for a lot of the year, especially when Ghosts of Madden dropped.    I managed about five last year I think. Overall it was five positions where I had slightly above average players at the start of the year and didn’t need to worry too much about upgrading those positions in any rush.    There is also that excitement that they may have a great game and get a totw card early on and shoot up in ovr. Over hyped? Possibly. A bit of fun at the end of the year that slides over to the new game. For sure.
