I agree with that, definitely have been through about 27 different menu sections looking for one specific thing. I do like that you can play literally any mode though and get progress. I've really just avoided the more complex systems and have been playing Moments/Games vs. CPU/BR to get better at batting and get rewards for hitting those random goals.

When I want to run heavy I have: Post Up on my Center and Tackles - Puller Elite on my Guards - Freight Train on my RB - Gunslinger / Fearless / Tight Out on QB - Route Tech on my Slot WR - I run 70% of the time, with Slants, Posts and Ins from that Slot WR when I know they are thinking I will run. The other QB abilities are strictly to make sure I can make clutch throws without pressure from rushers, and I most often throw to my TE in those situations (usually to the spot wide open in the middle left by their user who thinks I am running). I used to use Nasty Streak, and while it is great when they are blocking a CPU player, a User will still run right around them, and honestly with the current RBs you should be able to run right around a CPU LB without needing the Nasty Streak block. I so wish there was a good FB ability, they all rarely light up and for some reason Vanguard requires a bunch of catches to activate.
