This years version of MM is the worst. BY FAR! I believe more people quit in the opening than all of last year. Many spenders too. The ripple effects will be felt and may start a tsunami of people to bring MM to an end. Thread after thread of people leaving. This is another one. I was officially done on Saturday. The game still has too many open drops, recievers not even turning to catch a ball, etc, etc. I equivalent this version to total trash. Why do you think in all the time MM has been around, a producer has to come on for the first time like this? They know people are leaving them like avoiding the plague. It always had flaws, but year by year, every update, it got worse. I still think 15 was the best until they messed with difficulty levels in lvl and leagues exploited it to play on rookie. The game until then was tough (with gauntlet Sherman) but fair. Now they seem to half as$ versions out (17 and overdrive) to a point where they don’t care. They still don’t know how to make a player play to his stats, which is ridiculous. The NERF is dumb. It’s useless to get better players, and these coaches are flawed. It’s totally based on their programming and luck of the draw.

Quote from primetimedeion21 >> You know coding takes a lot of time right. It sure does. That’s why this game should have been beta tested and then reviewed numerous times before it came out. Maybe next year or the following. To re code some of the flaws like drops, and other bs takes far less time. They haphazardly threw this bs out there, so work 24-7 to fix it.

My respectful yet arrogant questions will be: 1. With all the problems with gameplay, why did you feel the need to overhaul parts of the game that’s were working correctly, and bring out something so flawed and so far from any resemblance to REAL FOOTBALL? 2. With the true gamers and people who actually spent real money leaving the game because it’s such a disaster, when do plan to scrap this mess, fire the people responsible for it and go back to something that was far closer to football? 3. How do you feel about every time you update or do a new version to MM, you make it worse? 4. MADden was always about real football. As a matter of fact the slogan used to be: “if it’s in the game, it’s in the game”. So with overdrive being what it is, does this mean the NFL will just go to this version of football? 5. How does it feel to alienate a big part of your audience in 3days? 6. Who’s bright idea was it to do this? Have they been tarred and feathered yet?

Prices thread states that a madden producer (or assistant) is coming on to answer our questions. No he’s not. He coming on to try to put out the fire that is OD. I’m sure the moderators will asked well transcribed questions aimed to entice Madden OD. You’ll see. It’s why I call them the apologists. I can’t wait. I’m planning to get this dude to talk in circles. We should all blast him (in a respectful manner of course. ;) ). First time ever and you wonder why? No, we don’t. They are being called out for everything on it as they should. Don’t expect any hard questions answered like, why did you feel the need to change a perfectly fine h2h process for this OD crap? No one wanted it. So why did you feel the need to tell us what we want when we didn’t want it? Or..... when you asked for a list of ways to make the atrocious MM17 better, no one asked for FF, so why did your company decide that your stupid and we will tell you want you want? or simpler ones. Why do I constantly lose connections? Why does the new fan accumulation system blow? Or when do yo trash thismversion and go back to 16? Or, if you had new game changers, maybe this release wouldn’t have happened, so when do they get changed?

Quote from DRW >> Anybody else getting banned? It happened about an hour ago. They exploited a glitch that they could get extra XP via the store. Serves them right. Game is pretty much over anyway

Quote from 1Badasstexan >> I honestly don’t know what they were thinking when they started this overdrive concept. Madden has always been about playing a realistic football game. The majority of madden players are grown men and grown men like real strategic football. 12-year-olds may like the fantasy fast pace no skill involved bombing fest but those who played for years and who spend the most money hate it. This is evident everywhere you look. If you look on muthead or ea’s Twitter all you see is guys hating overdrive. They are turning away guys who have played for you years and spent thousands myself included. Whoever thought up this idea of overdrive needs to be fired . EA should just admit that they screwed up and put the game back how it was. On one positive note they did get the graphics right. I’m in a top 100 league guys are quitting left and right and EA doesn’t even seem to care. They won’t even make a statement.

its day 3 of the soon to be dead Overdrive. Yes, we all know EA missed the mark, AGAIN! So, since you guys don’t see the top 100 groups yet, here’s what’s going on. A very large amount of top 50 league players got up and quit. Why? Well duh EA, the game blows. As for bans, it was people cheating to get experience (due to a glitch) and EA did right by laying the smack down on them. As for the problems, the list keeps getting longer and longer. My new favorite is in playing the 24/7 games, you have to kick off both halfs. Stupid EA doesn’t even know football, so no wonder they can’t get the game right. Still have more losses due connection failures than straight up losses. My guess is they didn’t have the right people beta testing it, or never did. With the the amount of people who quit last year and now this year, there soon maybe no one, so to speak, playing this half ass game. The NFL should be ashamed and revoke the player rights that EA purchased. Outside of lvl drives (and that’s debatable) there is almost no resemblance to a football game.
