And it needs to stop."   I apologize for not being more clear here, and I think you misinterpreted my language to build up a straw argument. ALWAYS means in this context that without exception of tier (Silver, Gold, Elite, HOF) I have been matched with bots. Meaning that my tier does not matter, nor does my rank; no factors can escape me from the bots, hence I always (regardless of tier) get matched with bots.   I did not mean, as you understood, that every match of overdrive I play is against a bot. This is not the case nor what I intended to say and I hope you now understand my argument a little better.   Congrats on being ranked 200, I have made HOF each season but the tier rewards haven't been worth my time since early this year when film reels mattered and when the player reward was an upgrade for my team.

Unbelievable. For what feels like the millionth time, I have to say I lost several matches in a row to bots. Not meaningless unranked matches, but real, fans-on-the-line, actual stakes matches.   Didn't we clear this up in October?   Didn't we call EA out on their match-rigging algorithm, and didn't they embarrassingly admit to it, and didn't they promise to change it?   It doesn't matter what my current rank or rewards tier is, I always, ALWAYS match with bots in ranked mode, OFTEN with a far higher team power than me. And it needs to stop.   I can't be the only one, right? Help me out and tell me if you're experiencing the same thing.   In my experience, you can usually tell right away when playing against a bot. Ask yourself: Is my offense rendered nigh-incapable? Does my O-line behave like synchronized swimmers while my deep threats run behind their DB's like they're trying to flat-tire their cleats? Does my QB trip over his own feet during shotgun like he's back at his own middle school dance?

Biggest differences I can see are:  Harris' 90 catch, Edelman's 80 catch Harris' 81 strength, Edelman's 89 strength   If anyone (like me) saved their MVP pack to open until they saw the TOTY lineup, hope this helped.   For what it's worth, I'll definitely be going for the Edelman WR now, since he's a big upgrade from his SB master card. Even though EA dicked us on the fine print "excluding 97+" BS.

Hey Muthead,    I don't post often but I wanted to get some input on if this is happening to any other users since the unscheduled maintenance yesterday.    Ranked overdrive (which has its own share of problems) has gotten slightly less infuriating since some major team upgrades. I'm now rocking a 96/95 with 1372 team power (I don't train my players).    Since I run vertical I'm used to bombing it downfield with alternating long/PA/short passes, but in the past few days I've noticed serious issues with ball stripping- namely, every 2/3 catches seem to be stripped right out of my receivers' hands. I'm nearly certain that this is a new implementation because I've noticed some new animations as well when my catches are stripped.    My 99 Moss has a 96 catch rating and it happens all the time. My OOP Deion Sanders has a 92 and it happens almost every catch now. WTF? I get DDA but it's becoming ridiculous. Just wanted to get a sense of if others are noticing this as well.

To me, the AH is shrouded in mystery. I'm sitting here juggling 4 bidding wars and after all this time I thought I'd ask if anyone knows how it actually works.   Specifically, who am I bidding against? Is it almost always the bot, or is it often other players? How dominant is the AH bot?    I'll give two scenarios to highlight my confusion:   Scenario 1: Underpriced player X has had 1 bid at the minimum for hours, but then I attempt to snipe the bid with   More often than not this is a bot I'm bidding with, correct? This has happened dozens of times, and it just seems highly unlikely that someone who placed a bid HOURS prior to expiration is just sitting on their phone waiting to be outbid. Sure, it may happen now and then that the timing matches up. But every time? So doubtful.

EA reported much lower-than-expected earnings this past financial Quarter.    From the transcript:  "Mobile delivered net bookings of $152 million, up 1% year on year, with growth in our FIFA franchise on mobile mostly offset by a decline in Madden Mobile. The Madden team is working hard to turn this around, adding new social features, new game modes and competitive tournaments. We have two updates out already, and a major update coming in December."   They know how bad they screwed up this game, and we are likely facing 2 outcomes with the December release:    1. They release a better game, based on listening to user feedback and collected data. They shift away from Overdrive mode into H2H like years past, and make the game more like actual football. They get rid of bots and their horrendous dynamic game balancing (aka DDA) and make this game fun in its own right, rather than a vessel for exploiting the gambling aspect of card-trading games.
