Back for MM20 Current Level: 11 Current OVR: 81 IGN: HypnoTC Ending OVR last season: 108/106, stopped after Bosses. Last League: No Name Ball Hogs in MM19. Why am I league shopping?: I've been out for a few months and don't see NNB or NNBH active. Looking for a new, competitive home :). Young or old?: I'm in my 30s.

Calvin is nice but I doubt he'll be endgame for most. I've personally already sold him. He's tall and boosts to a 105 but you can throw a TE in the flex and get the same benefits with all 99s. He also has terrible RBK, IMB, and STR for this stage of the game, so he's a liability in the run game. He's one of the better receivers at catching in traffic, but not as OP compared to his peers as his earlier versions. If I had to pick 2 OP UL cards currently, I'd go with Dawkins (lol @ 103 OVR, archetypes are stupid) and Willie McGinest. The offensive ULs suck for the most part.

I like the overall idea. Remove the marketplace, give everything a starting exchange value, and make the value degrade over time at something like 5% every 2 weeks until it hits rock bottom prices. We'd remove the fake auction house and have something akin to a NPC vendor in most roleplaying games. The main danger to something like this is that prices would be dictated by EA and not by fair market, and they know exactly how much currency everyone has and how to manipulate the market to encourage pay-to-play. Example: Let's say they look at their data and decide that after the Campus Heroes promo, the average player in a top 100 competitive league has ~10 million coins liquid. They'd make LT cost something like 25m to buy after the promo, and put coin packs in the store. You either spend money, or give everyone else +2 OVR. I still think I prefer this idea to what we currently have, but it's not without its dangers.

F2P is going to get at least 1 crystal egg, and people that wait for finds to be posted and use their trowels wisely should earn 2. That's plenty imo.

The irony in the update is that Diamond 1s are worth less than Elite 2s were prior to the trophy exchange... So it's still a downgrade in rewards overall. That said, the added TP and patches/whistles are nice. Any progress = good progress.

Quote from Dbzfan614 >> Quote from HypnoTC >> When being "surgical" with boosts means "We're saving the good boosts for P2W promos" Don’t that I’m trying to defend EA, but which boost have been p2w - can you elaborate? Imo best boosts so far has been John Ross +1 spd/acc and beachum +2 awr. Both were f2p.
