Wow you still buy this game lol. You are seriously not smart

Controlling a defensive lineman all you’re doing is tapping the x button praying for a successful pass rush move. Usering a linebacker or safety takes a little more skill because you have to read what routes the receivers are running and act accordingly. Usering the d line is also not as risky because you can’t mess up a coverage badly. Thats why you will see some people user a lineman but drop them into coverage, because there is no penalty for reading the offense wrong, it was just an extra person in coverage.    Although usering linebackers is very unrealistic because it seems like they all have the ability to jump 75 feet in the air. Playing someone who is a god at usering a linebacker or safety is a nightmare to play against.

Those out N up routes and sluggo routes etc don’t work either online because they take too long to develop.

I agree. Played a guy who ran mid blitz every single play. So I ran levels sail every single play and threw to the rb in the flat every time. He never changed his play so I kept taking the huge chunks of yardage every time.
