The additional points don’t display on the achievements that pop up when you complete them in game, but they’re still added to your overall total. When you buy the field pass, the description notes this. I just did the 2 master series lockers goal to verify because I wouldn’t put it past the game to be calculating points incorrectly. When I finished it, the pop up said I got 25 points, but when I checked my overall total 75 points had been added. So, you should be getting all the points you’re owed, it just isn’t reflected in the pop up notifications.

Is it at all possible to get future points added to the achievement or something? This field pass is already harder to get points for without having a season mode, and now we can’t even get them from promos like we used to. I don’t understand the purpose of having more points to achieve this time around if two of the biggest ways earned the points have been taken away from us.

I’d been wanting Manning to be my QB all year because he’s one of my all time favorites. However, I use spread and scramble with my QB often, so he wasn’t a great fit for my offense. When Max came out, Manning was the first player I maxed. I haven’t regretted it one bit. He’s fast enough to run option plays and scramble on passing plays. He’s also big, so he knocks guys over all the time. I’m generally not a fan of Max, but I will say I’ve been having a lot of fun playing with him. That said, I mostly maxed him for personal reasons. There is probably better value in maxing other positions, but if you like him and think he’ll elevate your game then it could be a great investment.

I got RTTD ads beyond the point of them being useful. Haven’t had a TOTD ad yet.

I believe it was a badge rather than a stamp.

The real value in those sets is that your maximum promo stamina increases with each set you complete. So, if you complete all three banner sets, you can hold 30 more promo stamina. Completing the 1,000 stamina set all 3 times will add another 30 to your max promo stamina. It would actually be a worthy investment to keep promo stamina regenerating longer.

Depends what you’re grinding for. If you just want the 98 OVR player, the master series is quicker. If you want to actually grind for TOTD points for one of the grandmasters, choose the season mode. You can replay season mode as many times as needed for extra points. You can only play the master series once.

Pretty sure I tied once and it counted it as a loss for me. It’s been a while since it happened so I may be remembering incorrectly, but I’m thinking it subtracted fans as if I’d lost the match.

Quote from Samfromfrisco >> Great write up, Rshoots! I appreciate the context of digestability, and looking at the game this year on a macro level. Should be easier to conceptualize in this format. Thanks for putting this together. My one addendum to your notes would be: I think a lot of people missed the point of the NYE firework event. Balloons were NOT actually easy to get. They were the limited factor of this promo. You can only get balloons from expensive packs, stamina, or leftover toys. Players were sellable and over-abundant on the AH, and there were multiple sets to build 84’s and workshop elites. BALLOONS were the real grind.
