Played the M20 Beta this weekend @ EA Play, head-to-head with another visitor. What I saw of it was great! A few thoughts:   1. BUTTER-SMOOTH. Seriously, it's like watching recent movies like the Hobbit in 60 FPS. I was playing on an Xbox and so can only presume it was on an Xbox One X, but the animations are SMOOTH.   2. Felt like plays were going slow to me, likely due to initial players having low ratings (and so not as fast/accurate on anything). Also saw some derpyness in plays, like tipped balls bouncing off of helmets and around all over in a way that didn't feel 100% physics-accurate. Time will tell, of course.   3. Playbooks were definitely different, standard sections but in different arrangements and plays than was the case in M19 (the only other Madden I've played, and that one only since late Jan 2019).   4. I beat the other guy (and badly, like 29-0 badly, grin). But in his defense, he said he hadn't really played Madden in years and was only there to see FIFA, then wandered a bit with his tweenage daughter. Was kind enough to give me his extra beta code, even. (grin again)

Watching the abysmal behavior of L’il Man towards SomeSerious during their matchup at the Madden Bowl yesterday, there were multiple (as in, easily 100+) calls in chat for L’il Man to be disqualified.   Yet, the announcers kept the camera on him and kept talking up how great his gameplay was (although they admittedly did NOT interview him after the match, as they normally do with all other winners).   Trash talk is one thing. But for anyone who watched that farce yesterday, this was so far over the cliff that it made the entire event seem cheap and tawdry—and especially so that the announcers seemed to cheer him on, and that there was no statement from EA either during the broadcast (or even today), whether live or on social media.   Does EA have no Standards & Practices involvement here? No clause in top-tier competitive contracts, requiring at least a basic level of sportsmanship and personal conduct?

The text on the Calculator page itself, says this calc is for MUT 18. Anyone have a link to an updated calc for MUT 19?

Tried out the new Madden NFL 19 Companion app this afternoon on my iPhone 6s. I'd heard we could utilize the AH while on the road, sounded intriguing.   A nice concept in principle, and I'm sure it works for many… but the interface doesn't seem as well thought-out as it could be, and the text/buttons can be really difficult to read.   On my first try to put up an auction with it, I ended up listing my 90 OVR Deion Sanders UL for the bargain price of no bid, 150 coin buyout. Needless to say, I didn't even have time to switch back to the "cancel" screen before it had already sold to a (very) lucky buyer—I can only hope it was a kid who's been struggling to bring his own OVR up, grumble.   Would've been a 2200 Training QS, avg AH price of 35K… sigh. Thanks, EA—not exactly a warm welcome to this "companion" app.   Pic attached to demonstrate my shame; will hope to do better next time (if there even is one… this one really hurt).
