Thanks for all the well-wishes, everyone. Maybe we'll meet up again when a different company wins the rights to make an NFL finger football game. Until then, na razie !

A few weeks into the season, I put down this absolute abomination of MM, as did nearly all of our league. Recently, a couple of them tried picking it back up and convinced me to give it another go, even if only casually. Despite being only a part-time player, I still found little to actually enjoy but was hoping that the Easter and Draft promos might be fun as they are typically pretty engaging and functionally the end of the season for a lot of users. Well, this latest BS is the last straw, and I no longer have any tolerance for both EA's incompetence and intentional mistreatment of its community of players. I've already sold my team (oh noes, the TOS!) and consequently will also discontinue participation in this forum. Best of luck to those who remain, and take care.

Quote from steelerstigers >> Offensive Ironclads are going for more than defensive ones on my AH. Kinda wish I'd built Whitehair now. That's because people were able to build more defenders since the currencies carried over, so supply should be much higher.

Quote from The_MaddenMan >> glad I skipped the ironclad grind, this is another reason why having masters/promo players NA for a month is bad for players. their values crash because of new additions to the game The values crash because the result of a fixed NA period is a massive supply being dropped on the market all at once and users aggressively undercutting each other in order to sell their cards NOW. Prices have always recovered in a few days, but CC and Ironclad will have a steeper hill to climb with the unique impact of Spotlights plus Easter likely dropping tomorrow.

Prices ALWAYS go back up after a few days, once the initial glut is exhausted and race to the bottom subsides.

More likely, the purpose is to drain coins and MC by having users repeatedly buy keys as they keep getting eliminated.

Quote from kgc123 >> you get matched like that because the tournament has rewards and not all teams are created equal. One has absolutely nothing to do with the other. It would be perfectly reasonable for EA to tighten up matchmaking to prevent wide disparities in team power and still offer the same rewards in the tourney. Most likely, they WANT as many "unfair" matches and early eliminations as possible in order to drain coins and MC with repeated key purchases.

Quote from spicoli2677 >> Pretty sure we're not playing vs other users, I faced the same made up ea computer generated team with both teams in the same rounds Would not surprise me in the least if PvP also had bots. I almost think it'd have to in order to find opponents for everyone who wanted a match, even considering the short window during which tourneys run.

Quote from Turndown_4_watt >> Quote from ilatzimepaho >> I’ve had this issue all season. I can’t play at home on WiFi. I get NTOs all the time, home alone no other devices on. It been the biggest non-gameplay issue I’ve had. Everything else, even other EA games, no issues at all

Quote from Ilyaas_wp >> To be fair ive beaten 3000 power teams with my 2000 power team in the tourneys. choose the right coach and captain and select the right plays... scrambling can also be a big game changer when things get tough... dont be afraid to take the risks also. Of course it's POSSIBLE to overcome a relatively huge power disadvantage and still win, but those matchups shouldn't be happening in elimination tournaments to begin with. Certainly, matchmaking is a little more difficult on the PvP side because any algorithm is a prisoner of the teams currently online and looking for a match, but there's zero excuse for lopsided matches with PvC. I too got eliminated on both formats in the first matches (on the first day with forced scheme) by drawing opponents more than double my power. That's just garbage. Not sure why it's so difficult to tighten up matchmaking to ensure that everyone mostly gets more even challenges, not just cupcakes and juggernauts, even if only just for these elimination tourneys.
