So you keeping your preorder?  I’ve been debating canceling mine.  I told myself I wasn’t gonna but stupid hype and on a whim preordered on live.  Now thinking cancel and just wait for rdr.

I think this is my last madden.  Probably move to new game like Red Dead, spend too much time on one game.   Carmichael would be cool but no big if gone.   thanks for sharing with everyone

Yea 720p or 1080i would be supported on your tv when switch while connected to pc monitor.   When connected to tv wait and see issue doesn’t happen.  Then try automatic.

Yes eventually need HDCP on for media apps.   When connected to the monitor just turn on and in PS4 settings turn HDCP off and select a lower resolution.   Turn off and plug in to tv and turn on.  If issue goes away then try changing back to 1080 and hdcp or automatic.

Try any lower resolution setting in your PS4 when connected to pc monitor and then move to tv and turn on.

Have you tried all resolutions?

Sorry, I meant to try the steps that I quoted but on your pc monitor.   Also, could try booting I.to safe mode on your tv and turning off 1080 and HDCP and then restart.  If that works you can try switching back to automatic.

When you held the power button down on the PS4 console did you here 2 beeps that normally sorts out.   Disabling HDCP should atleast let you get to view screen but would be end fix bc media apps wouldn’t work.     I found on forums this to try.   “HDCP of HDMI constantly changes... and cycles trough a code base of protection which the HDTV has to have pre-built in a heads of time...    There is a possible hand shake code change which might cause the HDTV to be unsuported... One solution is to use the HDTV that does work to turn off 1080p and HDCP ( for now. yes HDCP can be disabled on the PS4 ) and then reconnect it to the other HDTV... this will FORCE the HDTV to try the lower resolution with out HDCP and differentt coding restoring the picture...  Hope fully..“

I have had this before but it has been awhile.  Few things to try.   Do the 30 sec hard reset and try setting resolution manually.   Also, could be HDMI handshake issue or issue with HDCP.  Try turning HDCP off.   To disable this feature, select (Settings) > [System] and then clear the checkbox for [Enable HDCP]
