I disagree. I feel like the promos this year and making coins F2P is easier than it's ever been. Not to mention all the potential that can come from promo/ program players being pull-able in more packs across the board. With a new playable mode in the yard and MUT Draft tournies returning soon, I'd argue that this is the best MM we've had since 18 at the very least.

We're getting more out of gem packs then we were last year and actually having stuff to pull from them is a step in the right direction. Program stamina could end up providing a little strategy in deciding whether you want to spend more of it now compared to saving it for a big drop. The regular stamina taking 3 minutes is a little annoying, but the promo stamina and being able to grind the Yard more often makes up for it.

What have they taken away exactly?

Higher overall gold players are going to be more valuable at the start of the season as well as elites. I don't see how that automatically makes it worse for F2P players

A little early to say for sure. Let's see what the next month of content brings before saying that for certain
