I bought LE Wake for 2.3MM at the beginning of June and he was worth every coin. Held down my RE spot until I got Strahan. I still have him on my bench. I haven't seen one on the AH in probably 3-4 weeks.

My DEs are Strahan and Smith. If I didn't have Smith, I'd be very comfortable keeping LE Wake for my Legacy team. Regardless, none of the top DEs are THAT much different from any of the rest so whatever you come up with will be fine.

I had the LE FB Wake. Not sure if you're talking that one or the vanilla, but he played great for me. I don't think there's much difference between LE Wake and UL Dent. If you can afford Chubb, that may be your best route.

Didn't play with OBJ, but the only thing that changed this morning when I dropped him in was Boss Nelson went from 130 to 129 and CL Irvin went from 124 to 125. I prefer to run more than pass so I put Rice back in. Nothing lost. Nothing gained.

Responses are well taken, but to OP's point, the counter system has perverted the game. It is no longer about skill (if it ever really was), it's about hoping to avoid that negative RNG result. Hoping for a revolutionary fix in Overdrive, but I'm not holding my breath either.
