Fixing the gameplay doesn't happen until people stop buying packs. If we wanna call-out the stupidity of people wanting to not buy packs because they're somehow shittier than they already have been for years, then sure, but nobody should be buying packs anyway.

For some ungodly reason, EA's been absurdly lazy with TOTW specifically the last three years. Which is insane, because they were already easily the laziest developer in the whole industry. But please, keep giving them your money hand over fist, I'm sure it'll make Madden not a complete dumpster fire at some point.

Because it's not going to drastically change anything about the game, if at all. They do this every single year, they create some bullshit term for a thing and then market it as if it's something new, when in all reality nothing has really changed.

I looked on Twitter for shits and giggles to see if anything was actually going to happen. I saw this and started laughing pretty hard.

Then learn how to do basic thinking and reading.

I never even insinuated that. Are you legitimately this incapable of basic thinking and reading comprehension?

You're still crying about a non-problem where the repercussions of what you're suggesting would exacerbate one of the problems you're stating.

I always get a good chuckle from people who want to sound smart while crying about reading, at most, two paragraphs. Yes, I'm sure people should take your opinions seriously when you're either unwilling or incapable of reading a paragraph and a half. Again, you're just crying because what you think Theme Teams should be isn't how it works, and because people use a lot of similar cards. I hate to break it to you, but people are always going to gravitate towards to the same handful of cards, it's always been that way and it'll always be that way. Wanting to asininely make Theme Teams worse because you want them to be changed will do literally nothing but make the thing you're crying about infinitely worse. People will either not run a Theme Team at all and just stick to the best cards available, or if Theme Teams are worth it and require more investment, people will just gravitate towards three or four and supplement with the best cards available. You're just crying to cry, stop trying to ruin things that aren't an issue for other people just because you felt it necessary to get your panties in a wad over literally nothing.

You don't "lose diversity" by having more options for players on your team, that's literally the opposite of the term. Again, you haven't actually provided any coherent and competent argument as to why, "Theme Teams are too easy to get boosts for and that makes me all huffy puffy," you're just screeching about it, not realizing the repercussions of what you're wanting. The only way EA could raise the requirements for Theme Teams to get boosts while not completely and utterly pigeonholing players into an even worse issue of the one you're currently complaining about, which is "teams looking too homogenous." If you don't like people "all running moshpits of a handful of Theme Teams," then oh boy would you hate the reality where the only good Theme Teams are the Raiders, 49ers, and Cowboys; and that's what 80% of people run with literally no diversity on their teams. Your complaint is nothing but saltiness over people gravitating towards the best cards in MUT, which hey, fair enough. That's not going to magically change if you screw over Theme Teams.

It's because of the cards that give multiple Team Chemistries and I fail to see an issue with it. One of the more puzzling things that I've seen throughout this last year of MUT was people crying about, "Oh, Theme Teams aren't really Theme Teams because they don't have enough players from the team," and I struggle to imagine a dumber, more short-sighted and incoherent idea revolving around Madden. Why would anyone care how many people have on their team that contribute to a Theme Team? You want people to be forced to stay strictly to it if they decided to run with one? You do realize that it'll just make them almost entirely worthless due to how atrocious EA is with content and producing cards. Just mind-boggling that people will complain about a part of the game that gives minor boosts to people who want to revolve their team around a Theme Team or two, which also makes cards that would otherwise be outdated, stay up to date longer. This is the kind of garbage from the "community" that contributes to Madden being ruined. Too many people spewing things that they haven't actually thought about.
