I think the biggest thing with this promo that promos from older years is that you can't sell the masters right away. In previous years, you could build the masters and sell them right away if you wanted to. Usually they always went for more than the set cost and you could make a profit.    I also think that it's nice for promos like these, because I usually don't spend my coins like this. It's nice to finally have a promo to spend coins and gems and things I've saved up for awhile and actually have something to use them on

yeah this has always worked but they're selling more because of the price floors

I think the main reason we're upset with the players we're getting is that there is no use for them! There's no sets for them, they're pretty much useless. They're so hard to sell. We don't want players just sitting on our bench.

People are never gonna be completely happy. I think with promos it's about finding the best balance.  Promos last year were "too complex" but were somewhat enjoyable.  This year, promos have been somewhat dull, and repetitive. I know its hard to find that balance and I don't know what that would be. Thanksgiving in Madden Mobile 17 was really good. It was super simple, but still had a lot to it. Cornucopia packs were insane. Led into a great black friday promo.  I think with promos, they can be simple. Trade in gold collectibles for gold players. Trade in 2 gold players for a gold+ player and en elite collectible. trade in golds and elite collectibles for elites. Masters only need gold players and elite players.  Sometimes simple is better. The sets can be that. But the lack of events is somewhat annoying. Have specific events, once a day with a schedule on the game with the times for those events, that would give you a lot of good stuff for that promo, such as Thanksgiving of MM18.

We all know there's an October themed promo coming out on Friday. There's speculation it could be Color Clash or cancer awareness themed. NFL's cancer awareness program is called Crucial Catch. I made a crucial catch card design as well as some ideas of what could be inside the promo. Just like most promos, you play events to get tokens. Tokens you trade in to get the 3 different color ribbons of the promo: Pink, Blue and Yellow.   From there, each color has a specific chain of sets. For example, if you trade in 5 pink ribbons, you get a random pink gold or elite player + a Pink Badge.   You need 10 pink badges, 5 pink gold players, and 1 pink elite player to get a 86-87 Pink Master.    This is the same for the other colors.   If you complete all 3 master sets at least once, and trade in 20 of any color gold players, and 4 elite of any color, you get the 89 Eric Berry Master.

or at least have some way these cards sell. Have some set where they're needed so they're not just useless and people don't buy them. It's pretty lame
