It's not getting late at all. New seasons don't come out until October/November for NBALM. They come out earlier for FM and MM because those respective sports start their seasons earlier.

For me, it's a matter of which will succeed. The AAF has done a great thing and started a year earlier than the XFL, which will allow it to create a strong fanbase. The partnership with the NFL, as well as NFL Network, is also genius. I personally feel that the AAF will be more successful than the XFL, because of this head start.

My bold prediction is that the Rams will finally be the team to blow out the Patriots, or at least win by more than one score. The Pats love close superbowls, in winning them or losing them.

I would tell everyone I knew that in 3 years time the Falcons would be in the Superbowl against the Patriots, be up 28-3 at a certain point, and when the clock hit triple zeroes, they wouldn't be trailing. Then I would bet all of them that the Pats still won, which would have made me quite rich now.

We didn't have them a decade ago either, and like someone said, we signed other people's yearbooks with cliche comments about success and how we'd all be in touch and this wasn't goodbye. Even with social media now to keep people connected, it's mostly lies. People go to other states and countries for school, move out of town, find new people to meet and marry, etc. High school is magical, but it will always end up as a memory.

The Pats are polarizing. People tune in to make themselves feel better about their personal views on Brady and the organization, be it a fan or a hater. The Superbowl will have great ratings like always. (Like I've said before, the 60 million people that suddenly watch the Superbowl but no other NFL game during the season aren't being swayed by anything that's happened in the previous games.) More than anything, I'm tuning in because 1. I like the Rams, and wish one stupid play by their cornerback hadn't ruined everyone's views on their prospects of making the big dance. (I wish the corner hadn't made such a stupid play in the first place). They're a well deserving team. 2. How often can you say the Superbowl is being played 20 minutes from where you reside? The 2nd. biggest single sporting event in the world is happening in my backyard. Hell yes I'm excited.
