Very well summed up. The presents were the virtual equivalent of a lump of coal! And in a weeks time the team I’ve built up turns into a pumpkin again, the gate for the next season gets even more impossibly higher that virtually none of us will be able to reach. Lots in my league including me are really now considering hanging this up for good in the new year.

It’s not just you mate. I had the same problems as everyone else on here, took me 3 goes to get the 2 TD event. The whole game is nerfed, brand new players can’t beat epics in a foot race. EA spreading their unique brand of festive cheer to us all.

Guaranteed to lose 50% of your stake whichever option you choose. EA continuing to screw you over just for the sheer hell of it. At this point, there is no other explanation than that.

Just seen my level 6 disappear overnight back to zero. That’s pretty damn disgusting, in all honesty! Can’t afford to keep building my team up just for EA to take it away again. Every event is a cookie cutter cut and paste of the previous event. This is truly woeful. I think I’ll probably be done after the holidays and find something else to do with my time and money from there on in.

My S2 plan is probably to uninstall this dogsh*t game and do something more enjoyable instead. Unless you max out multiple credit cards or take out a second mortgage you genuinely can’t build a top tier team anymore. Even then they play like crap anyway. Here in the UK the betting company ads say ‘when the fun stops, stop!” Well, the fun has certainly stopped for me now….

I fear your optimism is not well founded. If anything this crap is going to get way worse, not better. Loads of us in my league just reaching the point of total apathy now and virtually ready to uninstall this for good.

Yes, why build your team up only for EA to make you do events with a complete dogsh*t team of utterly useless mf’ers? Get 20 yards with a running back who can’t outrun a tortoise. Impossible to do. I shake my head at who at EA actually thinks this bs is funny. I was prepared to spend some money on the game, but they’ve actually made it so damn awful that I can’t be arsed to spend because I know it’s not going to make a jot of difference to my team.

The rewards are utter garbage, which is in keeping with the game.

Yes, the DBs are insanely fast. I have 130 Mythic McCaffrey and he can’t outrun them on sweeps, even the DBs on rare cards are faster than he is.
