Ok, so as stated, this wouldn't effect my life in any way.  However, being as LVL is more or less the only thing keeping me logging in anymore, it is of some interest to me (and others like me).  It's a bit like saying, "so the Saint's lost in the championship because of a horrible missed call".  So? Doesn't effect any of you in any way, yet it's still interesting news.  Sort of the same thing here.

Of all the things EA gets wrong, this is what we are focusing on?

As mentioned the supply/demand should be evening out right now since people can pick whichever one they want.  Once they are no longer available, the prices may vary widely.  High demand positions (partially decided by what EA releases in the future) will of course be worth the most.  Currently that's probably O-line, but could easily change if the next promo puts out a bunch of O-line that's even better.

I wonder how many film reels got spent on Drew Brees and how much MC cash that will sell...

I did this last week but I wasn't on early enough for the first game so I picked all 4 choices for the second game (on Sat).  I won the two, of course, but didn't get the participation tokens.  It's kind of nice, if you think about it, if your undecided and want to wager on both outcomes (you'll get one right), but it sucks that you don't get participation.

I didn't read the entire thread, just the first page.. so maybe this has been pointed out already.  In case it hasn't, here's my take:   The problem with letting them get away with charging for the game is where does it go from there?  Sure, perhaps at first pack odds are better and the micro transactions are reduced, but this is a corporation that not only wants profits, they demand profit INCREASES every quarter.  So before you know it, the micro transactions are as bad as they are now, and next year were paying 19.99 for the app.   True story.  Don't even give them the idea, seriously.

I am Vert all the way in OD (WC in LVL).  At first I was trying to at least use the coach that gave the bonus, but found that without McCarthy's +2 boost I was scoring quite a bit less.  In most cases, I would have easily gotten an extra 50% points using McCarthy instead (for whatever reason, not many seem to cancel the boost in tourney's like they do in ranked OD).  Not only that, but I lost more frequently, so less total points in the end too.  I just stick with Ogden/McCarthy no matter the boost, because that's my play style.   If your goal is to get to 65k, that's a lot of W's needed.  Play whatever will get you the most wins.

I was struggling with whether to buy Peters (my OL needed an upgrade bad) and upgrade or build and upgrade.  I would have spent about 700k (last night) to get the 91.  I decided to go ahead and use my hats and build him so I can keep the coin for future promo's.  At 200-300k for sure I would have just bought him, but prices are higher than that for some of the cards.  I suppose knowing that Watt's go for even more, I should have built one of them, sold, and bought Peters.  I tend to just focus on what I want for my team though.
