It's mainly up to your win streak in the solo battles, slightly the difficulty. Choosing a lower difficulty such as pro or lower in turn make your players perform at those difficulties as well as the opponent. Resulting in trash results at times even with a good team. The win streak is pure rigged though, why else would teams with lower overalls have any chance realistically in the higher difficulties, once your at about 5 wins in a row the game kind of flips it's lid and doesn't want to lose anymore so they'll do anything to make sure you lose those games from then on. So say you dominated teams with higher ovr than you early on, later if by game 5 of dominating you'll notice immediately even the lower ovr teams can now pull miracle like plays and down right ridiculous turnovers. Horrible and lazy programming by madden 19 developers. Why not let the game sit on people's abilities and knowledge of football other than this rigged like counterpart.
