Um well David Irving played DT and is listed as DT on nfl.com, so that’s a terrible analogy. But for the sake of argument, JD likely would not have the route running, blocking or hands ratings a WR would in Madden so it would make sense. Irving is literally better in every single stat category when compared to DT’s with his same overall of 78. There’s not one thing they are better at, yet rated the same.
