This was hands down the best value pick for the Packers yesterday. The people mocking this are pretty shortsighted. The only players that could have gotten them closer to the NFC Crown were long gone by the time the Packers were on the clock. They took the best player available, as has been their M.O. since the early 90s.

The stories about Bretts treatment of Rodgers are pretty ugly. So ugly, I doubt Rodgers could top them. That said, having gone through that, I don't think Rodgers will behave the same way. If he does, shame on him. Hopefully this lights a fire under Rodgers. The Packers have at least 2 more years with him, with 2021 being the monster payout year on his contract.
