Completely misleading description. Such a scummy company to do this

There are two egregious falsehoods being put forth in this thread, either from paid EA marketing or severely naive players. 1: “Non spenders are jealous or envious of spenders”. False. While this might be true for some, there is a huge segment of the player base who chooses not to reward EA for treating their customer base like dog crap and putting out an increasingly inferior product each year. I am in this camp. Most of us have likely played MUT for years and have good memories of that time, only to be disappointed in an obvious shift to monetize every aspect of the game. Capacity to spend is not an issue, it is the principle of supporting a greedy company that doesn’t value you 2: “How I spend my own money is none of your business and doesn’t impact your madden experience”. Yes, we all live in a free country and can blow our funds on whatever we please. But consumer spending habits impact all. You spend half your income on cigarettes, that business is now better positioned and EA is no different. That YT video posted below pointed out how gaming companies are targeting the top couple percent of wallet gamers and their revenue outpaces the entire bottom of the pyramid. There is no incentive to make a quality product as long as they can keep the whales credit cards swiping. Maybe none of you here are their top spenders, but you have to understand that each time you send EA cash you are effectively telling them at best good job with the current state of the game, and at worst - feel free to strip away content and features that benefit the customer because I’ll probably continue to spend regardless

EA is just shameless at this point. Sad thing is the addicts will actually do this. Hmm, maybe if you have to rely on buying your team to be competitive you're just not that good at this game to begin with? And to be clear, being good at this game equates to adeptly tricking the poorest coded AI and has almost nothing to do with football strategy.

It's true the comp pass structure is horribly conceived. But as many below pointed out EA is driven by greed alone and it's deliberate. This profit driven company would never entertain adding in the reward structure you propose considering they have stripped away all non casino manners of acquiring coins or cards. That being said, I feel WAY more sympathy for the offline and casual players who have virtually no way to improve their teams anymore and are forced to be slaughtered by the pay-to-win junkies. Who has it worse, the folks that have to endure people quitting on them and work harder/longer for the full weekly comp points, or the ones for whom EA has removed all means of NMS team improvement? Also, what are those 5,500 blue C credits next to your training? Just curious

Imagine being someone who is just learning the game, or a father/son casual team (which I know there are a lot out there). Considering there are no solos and they've removed almost all value from solo battles there is literally nothing to do except get slaughtered by whales and further EA's goal of validating the whale's spending in their casino

Calling it trash would be a compliment, bc it's worse than garbage. Here I am, no Headliners rewards, no RP rewards. I've done all the solos and solo battles, with the exception of one solo battle that just gives me an error message. And the game wants me to go play H2H at a disadvantage, which is the only thing left to do in this godawful game. So many bugs, errors, miscommunication, etc from this greedy ass company. Hard to top 23 as worst release ever but they've done it

First thing to do is to forget everything you know or think you know about real life football, or physics in general. I hate it as much as anyone else, but unfortunately EA forces you into the meta if you ever want to win more than 50% of your games. And they even promote the brokenness of it in their official channels. Parham had 10 catches in 2022 yet was madden god for the first few months of the game and all they do is talk about height and high pointing. AJ Dillon ruined the second half of the game and they did nothing to even it out. Just ponder the fact that the competitive tournaments forbid some of the bs that the rest of us paying customers have to put up with on a daily basis.

So little enjoyment from this game. MLB is a million times better

Same. Used to play all the way up to the next release for many years. MUT has progressively gotten worse over the last 3 years, and each year I have quit a month or two earlier than the one before. Was fed up in February this year and wish I would have made that decision in December. Game sucks and EA ruined it. MLB the Show is a far better product and puts into perspective how bad MUT is now. Its a shame since I can distantly remember how much fun it used to be
