Seriously, WTF? Most of those players are dead, retired or not in the playoffs?? And a NCAT Floyd for 3+ hours of grinding? A 3-4 OLB that I can't QS. What good is that for anyone playing a 4-3 anyway? You can fucking do one EA. Awful start to a major promo.

Its me being a bit anal really. I just try to keep it as realistic as possible and try to play that way too. Legends always seemed a bit weird to me but I will stick the occasional one as a backup. I have Regie Nelson as SS2 often plays in Nickel formations for example. I absolutely hate OOP though. Not having duplicate numbers does make it harder but, again, you wouldn't see it IRL? I'm also playing mostly 4-3 so no room for players like Mack or Mayowa. It makes it more challenging and it does make the wins more satisfying because I limit how good my team can be.

IDK. 80% of the time stick QB Contain on them, force a throw, INT and score on your drive and they'll quit? I also seem to play quite a few people who can play a decent game? I'm not sure its as bad as you make out man.

I guess rule number 1 is be patient. Pick out the early solos that give decent rewards for little effort and buy low/sell high on the AH whenever you can. Do the daily challenge as often as you can. Sign up for Madden Rewards. Play Solo Battles as a relatively easy way of getting some coin/packs. Personally, I've never bought a pack and my team finishes 97/98 most years and I might play 2 - 4 hours a week and do very few promos from start to finish. Theme Teams are a decent way of improving the cards you have already: if you get enough players from the same team you can easily get a +1 or +2 on most cards. 90% of the time it doesn't matter as cards rarely play to their numbers and a lot of 99's are very misleading anyway (WR's with high THP for example). If you're a half-decent player you don't need the absolute top cards to be competitive. It does depend on what you want to achieve though? You want to spank everyone in August or a team and bench of gold 99's by the end then you probably have to spend; you want a team that's good enough to compete reasonably quickly, (I don't normally play too much H2H in the first 4 - 6 weeks) you don't. If I had 1 piece of advice it'd be Theme Team - you'll enjoy it more playing 'your team' and even average cards get good bumps to the right numbers.

Yup. QB contain followed by QB contain and spy your fastest DT if that's not enough. QB Contain and Spy the roll out DE (most players roll to the same side) also works. If you have Film Study on any of your DB's just keep an eye on the repeat play and User the side he's rolling to. He'll still get the odd play off sometimes but that'll stop or slow it down 90% of the time.

Mildly annoying that Moehrig gets moved from SS as a Draft player to FS in RP.

Is it just me or is this promo a massive ballache? 120 stars earnt through really long solos to get a GT that, if you wanted in the first place, you've already bought? Oh and 75k in coins for packs full of fuck all. Yeah, that's EA appreciation all right....
