It’s a dope ability especially if you run a lot of power or counter schemes. It was a lot better earlier in the year before the dbs got much faster because the OL targeting never improved. Personally I think it’s best use is for heavy shotgun offenses since quick impact sheds cause most runs to be stopped easily. Personally I switched to running post up and pulled elite on my guards to improve all pulling blocks and mitigate interior sheds

Lmao Hot route master shouldn’t even be an “ability” it should just be a part of the game, every qb since like middle school can call hot routes. In fact hot route master should be expanded to have literally every single route from anywhere on the field based on position. It’s quite dumb that only certain routes can be called from certain spots when that’s not how it’s done irl. If anything your complaint about skill gap should be centered around the lack of tools and mechanics on both sides of the ball to counter each and everything done on offense. The gameplay and football concepts do not mesh properly which is why their is such a discrepancy. Posting about abilities is giving EA a pass for not focusing on gameplay. The rule of thumb should be that if there is something in the game there should be a instant counter for it if you know it’s coming on both sides of the ball, that’s what creates the chess match when the talent is equal in real life.

I don’t disagree with the Meyers take, the reason I suggested Cam was because it gets him a power up and potential 99 for the panthers fans as well. Also Cam accounted for 21 TDs. He and Jakobi are the only two to do a damn thing all season. Meyers also would likely have unusable stats even on a full theme team and physical Chems, his base stats are god awful even for a silver. The rest of the O was putrid, Harris was the only other bright spot but he got a standout already. Also the pats are stupid deep at HB and Wr so a mobile Qb wouldn’t be a terrible choice.

My hope is that they do two team masters for each team on offense and defense since this will be the last program of this type for the rest of the year. Cause from here on out it’s weekly cards, draft promo, blockbuster promo, and the 4th of July promo. Personally for the pats theme team I would love if they dropped these as 98s: offense-Cam and Defense- Mccourty. Both would make sense based on being the best players on each side of the ball that could use an end of the year upgrade.

Rocking the pats theme team so I expect them to go Dlineman or safety since that’s really the only areas where they could use an upgrade. So either Chase Winovich RE or Kyle Dugger SS would be be the likely choice. Other than that the only other upgrade I would prefer is Jakob Johnson the FB since he is only an 80 overall and could be useful with an upgrade

The TT is gonna hit different if Brady gets a totw plus 1 this upcoming Tuesday, he will be another HRM & Gunslinger QB. With the weapons that are available to use for the pats, Multiple wrs and TEs with varied skill sets in the right hands it’s a legit attack. Meanwhile the defense is potentially gonna get a playoff or super bowl Richard Seymour which will basically be laroi glover 2.0, the next Samuel card will be solid as well. The pass rush is in pain until Adailus gets another upgrade and whenever that Chandler Jones drops.

Wanna know a secret, you gotta counter what they are sending. There are formations you can use against 3 OSA where those 3 OSA players aren’t matched up on your top 3 wrs. Also consider formation alignment, TEs lined up at the end of the LOS cannot be presssed which can give you a definitive advantage even over a OSA. Something that I haven’t yet been able to test but I know works is utilizing either Kamara (powered up with max playfake) hits the short and mid threshold while Oop Patterson hits the deep threshold with max go deep. In most formations the TE and HB will not be up against cbs and if you feel sub backers are giving you problems just get Match up nightmare for free yards vs 1 v1 coverage
