It helps in any instance. It’s not meant to completely neutralize the d line. You can also block at the second stage with halfback or fullback against abilities. Engage eight is pretty easy to beat if they are spamming it

I’m not sure how you would expect protected to work when they are blitzing more than you are blocking. It works fine

I think you just invalidated your own arguement. His stats are placed perfectly for a cb. Making him as good as any 98 cb will be. Nobody should want 99 overalls to be 99 everything. That just ruins what was special about the players

Your comment makes no sense pal. His lower overall card is obviously not better seeing as this one would get the same boosts. It’s the same card with higher stats. Making your 98 a 99. Complain about something actually wrong with the game
