The GC Trove Select pack is slightly nostalgic to what rewards used to be like in the game. Only most major promos had multiple rewards like that each day.

It's changes like that that I can't stand. I get wanting to have less staff working on the game and maximizing profit. But is that 7 for 2 rares really effecting their bottom line at all?

They dont want it to make sense. They don't want you to be able to hoard resources. They want to force you to reinvest season after season.

So the CMC events award season 1 training points. Do they change to season 2 tokens later or will they always be season 1?

Is there even a point to that set? What do you need specific rares for?

Yeah, I figured max was coming once I saw those daily Movers trades. They are just another way to get people to drain their benches before max drops and there are trade ins for all the old cards.

I mean if they are going this route might as well give us a full squad of 11 by the end of the year. Leprechaun, bald eagle and giant uncle sam for the patriotic holidays, a new years baby, cupid, giant turkey, etc. lol.

I can't believe you think Overdrive was worse than this. Any season with an AH automatically makes it better. The one thing I will say is that 19 was definitely the "turning point" season, and began the downward spiral. Almost every promo the first half of that season was a disaster with glitches and having to be extended every time because they didn't tell us when a promo was ending. I think it definitely contributed to the cookie cutter promos we get now.
