I used to have a spreadsheet that I tracked participation everyday. When people fell below 90% participation they were kicked. If you kick people when they miss one tournament you will eventually kick everyone. If 1 person misses each month your 9 person league will have no members in 9 months. I didn't keep track of scores, just the number of drives they played each day (0-3). I would take screen shots on my phone of participation at the completion of each tournament and then update the spreadsheet when I was in front of a computer.

I agree with you, the last thing I need in my life is an improved message service for a mobile game. When I want Madden message I will open Madden. However, much of life depends on having the right fit. If your goal is to be in the top 100 of all leagues then you probably need an improved messaging system. If you are not aiming for top 100 then the in-game chat (although primitive) should be sufficient. There are people out there that want to play in a semi-competitive league, play 3 drives everyday but not have to install a new app and be inundated with chat for a mobile game. You just have to find the right people that fit in your league.

It is not true that everyone liked the old way. Unfortunately the free market allowed for coin selling/buying and you were disadvantaged if you did not partake in coin buying. Scott the Bot is not ideal. It would be ideal if people could play honest with coin buying/selling. However they could not. Therefore you now have Scott, the lessor of two evils.

I have not seen any previews but I am not really excited. This year has stolen all my love of MM. I play my 3 drives everyday and that is it. Maybe when it comes out I will get excited again.

I just put my best spare player in the slot position. If I have an extra TE then a TE goes there, if it is WR then he ends up there. I tend to chase Ovr so I just put the top 4 players on the field.

Quote from Mut888 >> So,once again,in order to correct roughly 100th mistake your testers failed to find this year, its up to us to contact you?Well no,thanks keep your atinky cell.If your company had any class, even a tiny bit,you would gift a cell to everyone.Blah,im just wasting my time trying to lead you to water, huh? Giving everyone a cell doesn't really help the people that lost a cell. When I am grinding an event it is so I can make my team better than yours. If the progress of my grind mistakenly disappears it does not help me if they give us both something.

I agree that this season of MM is the worst ever. However, for EA to be the worst developer there would have to be someone better; but there isn't. EA constantly delivers the best sports games for about 30 years now. This year's MM may be the worst but it is still the best football app available. Perhaps it is the best sports app available or maybe FIFA is better but again that is an EA product.

Did you start at the beginning of the year? You are not level 60 yet so I am just wondering if you have been playing the full season. I am F2P and my team is 103/102/99. I don't play on the AH at all, just to sell players that no longer make my lineup. I am level 60 though and have been for a long time so that means I am grinding the events (and other things that award XP) more than you have so far.

Micro-transactions are how the company gets paid when they provide a free game. For Fortnite this turned into $2.4 Billion dollars in 2018. If you take away their source of revenue either they stop providing the service or they have to find another way to monetize it. They would have to sell the game or have a ton of ads. No one should expect them to work for free.

Think what the market would be like if they handed one out 160 tries. Top players are valuable because they are rare. If they handed them out every 160 tries they would not be rare and the value would disappear. You will still get a ton of players for your 20K blitz tickets that you will use to build a Versus 99. You gambled, although you didn't win the 99 player you wanted it is still a win because you can build a 99.
