I want to look back at Clement's touchdown catch last night. To clarify, I am a Patriots fans but I am attempting to reserve any bias when looking at catch rulings. By rule, he did not fully control the ball when his left foot first came down, and when it came down a second time it was out. Even though by rule it was incomplete in most people's eyes, many (including myself) would say that it was a catch. I know very few other people who understand the catch rule (ex: i agree with the Jesse James call by rule but not in personal opinion. The only part of this rule that needs to be clarified is what defines control and when control is necessary. Every other part of the rule is currently serviceable.

So, Jerry Rice is the only player without a card this year from the Goat program. Unless he is the legend this weekend, that surely means he will be a LTD superbowl card this week. It would make sense to have these LTD cards throughout the week for past and present players they have missed such as Danny Amendola, James White, etc.

The pats just have a lot more players because they have been in more superbowls. They can then have more historic players for this promo than the Eagles. I still think we should have more 'present' players for both sides.

Anybody know if we will be getting a new Danny Amendola. Playoff Danny needs a new card.
