Now the holiday itself is no different than the rest of the promo sans one blitz event that gives a uni or stadium or logo or some piece of worthless fluff

Bingo. And it seemed like you could consistently get reliable plays like HB stretch/toss in those options. I wish they would just make it a general feature for both sides of the ball

Honestly some of the best free plays available aren’t even on the default. Texas, smash, etc.
