I usually don't like using a HB as a . If you look at the comparison you can see that you have to give up something to get what you want. For example, if you use the FB mostly for catching passes then McCoy is far better related to RTE (+25), CIT (+10), and REL (+10) over Gurley. The CIT probably isn't as important but the RTE and REL are for making sure he doesn't get caught up as much. If you are using the FB as a blocker, then none of them are really good but the best is Gurley with RBK, RBF, PBK, and PBF. To me none of them are ideal as a FB as when I use mine I want someone that can catch and block but none of the 3 you are looking at can really do both well.

Quote from Reepicheepmouse >> Quote from dtownfan13 >> I feel for you. It does seem the soft counters are hitting critical much more often than in the past. One thing I think that EA got too true in their "If it is in the Game, it is in the Game" is the "refereeing". Like you said, a fumble that is recovered out of bounds but it counts and the spots have always been ridiculous where you clearly get a first down but it says you are short or you get hit, then again, and again and each one pushes you back further but it resets the forward movement so it doesn't spot it where it is. I have also had it both in my favor and against on the spotting by the goal line where on a 2 point I know I got in but it didn't give it to me or also looked at it and said no way did I make it in, but it somehow gave it to me.

Seems they carried over some of the worst aspects of this past NFL season into MM with some of the ref related items.

Yes, I have had the issue. One thing is when it happens, exit and do not go straight to your next drive and do not force quit. If you exit after it ends the drive, it will not impact all the other games but when you are at the same team, you will start on drive 2. Something someone else recommended was playing the games in your que from the right to left fixes the issue. I started doing that and have not had this happen in the last 2 days with a lot of H2H matchups so it seems to work.

Quote from tclvikerz >> It happened to me when I stacked H2H to play. Now I'm playing one right away. I think someone mentions playing the opponent from right to left fix the issue Thanks for the suggestion, I will try that. I do know it only happens when I have multiple players lined up for games and I always select the one on the far left.

It will happen again....I will get a pic next time and post it. You can't see the wrong team thing when I do that, but you can clearly see it is a drive with just a fair catch or a return and then the drive is complete.

Seems to happen to me a lot and it has nothing to do with connection, connected to wifi with never any issues. I think I am seeing it now more because of all the H2H grinding where before it was 1-2 times a week now it is every day. The worst thing is that there is absolutely nothing I can do about it...at least with drops I can try running the ball.

Runs in streaks for me as well. I had a stretch during about 6 games today where there was no counter, but the defense did something unusual unless it would be a counter play. For example, Trips HB Counter with no counter and the tight formation which is usually an easy 15 yards but then the DE and LB both run right through blocks for a negative or zero gain play. Many other similar plays where formation is not a counter formation, but the defense plays like it is a counter or the player drops the wide open pass. My guess is just that as everyone is grinding, we are just going to run into more of these stretches that we all have had...just the more you play the more of those bad stretches you have. My last 6 games were normal for me where I got 2-3 TDs. Probably the biggest think I have noticed is that the 2 point flipped toss is not as good anymore. My guess is that once you get into the over 100 defenses it is just the defense is too fast and can stop it regardless of counter or not. Thinking it has to do with the levels and speed as on my alt with a teem around 90 I still get the 2 point to work at least 75% of the time. In my main, I am starting to think I need to go back to just kicking the extra points.

If you are struggling with passes, I suggest you do some of the PA or short passes that have the short out, curls, and flat routes. Those are usually relatively safe and don't necessarily get you the big plays but help to eat the yardage. Some good plays are Trips TE Quick Slants going to you TE on the out or the curl (curl is more difficult), Bunch PA Pin Deep with the TE running an out, Trips TE PA Deep Attack with the WR1 running a short crossing route (works well against zone, not so much against man), smash with the WR2 or HB (countered a lot), Strong I PA Slide flipped can get the FB in the flat or the TE on the out, Trips TE WR Corner with the TE on the out. She short crossing routes and the outs are the easiest and safest to complete but may not get you huge chunks of yards. If you know how to read the plays, some of these have a different option such as Bunch PA Pin Deep where you can hit the WR1 on a deep route when the DB is behind the WR1 but you have to really know what to look for to do some of the other options. Also, if the receiver you want to hit is covered too tight then either scramble or throw the ball away but you need to be moving out of the pocket and usually in the direction of the receiver you want to throw to.

I never do that, but what I really hate is when they give you a challenge for a play such as rush for 10 yards or throw to a WR....it always seems to be something you don't want to do with the down and distance situation you are in so you either try to force it to make it work or ignore it and operate as you normally would.
