Quote from siganus399 >> It's not a timer, it's a counter. Once you hit the scramble button, you will be unable to use the scramble button until you have done 4 more passing plays. Though I believe everything else you said is correct, if I'm not mistaken the counter also goes down if you run the ball. So if you scramble and then run the ball for 4 plays – you should be able to scramble on the next passing play.

Apparently you can't delete a post, lol. See below.

I remember getting this for the first time in November/December, but it's possible that they've increased the rate of it happening since then.

Quote from jrballot >> Whenever I am going for a tourney player then I don’t worry about wins right from the get go. I only play for points every match because I know the wins will come. This strategy also helps especially when they decide to change it after 15 wins and 1 ticket can only get 8 points. If I am not going for a tourney player then I focus on getting every win, starting with gameplan prep if needed. Yeah, I've come to the same deduction as well and I do the same things as you. Why doesn't winning matter though? It does in every other facet of the game (except technically H2H I guess), so why not here as well? I don't see any reason why weekend tournaments should be unique in that.

there's no point going past 15 wins unless your going for the 3 players You are correct, yeah, and I am aware of this. My point is that I think winning should factor into the ranking for the 3 players as well instead of only points. Not just only for the initial rewards.

After the first 15 wins, or whatever number is required if it's a special event, winning seems to be essentially useless. Yes, you will sometimes win just out of luck from trying to score, but the only factor that seems to determine current rank for tiered rewards (1-100, 101-1000, 1001-5000). It doesn't even seem to factor in to the current rank for players who have the same number of points. You might as well just take your time, choose safe plays, get your points, don't care if you lose on time or not, and call it a day. I know EA wants to allow people who spend on the game to do well, cause currently having a ton of tickets will ensure that you get the desired rewards, but I just wish that there was more of an incentive for winning and actually consistently doing well at the game. Granted it's certainly possible that wins at least break ties in the final rankings and it's just not updated throughout the duration of the tournament, so I am admittedly ignorant of that. However, there seems to be no real benefit to winning your matchups and I feel winning should hold more weight than just a potential tiebreaker (if that's even the case) especially for players who do not spend money on this game.
