I only used the mic for squad the year it was required for MUT master, I think '18. Made some friends doing that but my social skills are so marginal that it is hard for me to have conversations period, doubly so when I'm trying to remember what button corresponds with which receiver

Huh, I'll try it but puller elite has been useless for me in trap, counter and power plays this year. Maybe base is the secret to making it viable

I'm happy for DK, but surprised Ozzie Newsome and the other BHM players didn't get in. I wonder if they will be ultimate legends, but that program has got to be ending soon too and big names like Jerry Rice still haven't been upgraded. Well, it's mid-July and time to move on, I guess.

Enjoy your time off, there's more to life than a video game. I didn't mind the meta this year, and I try to run my own thing anyway, which keeps it fresh for me. I think this year was better tailored for players like me who have an average skill level and just grind from week to week. I could see how it might not have been as much fun for a die-hard player that always has the absolute best cards every week of the game.

Its funny I guess the team has just always scouted that position well with Aaron Donald adding to the legacy every year

Looks like I'm staying on the current get since I can't buy a next gen console. I haven't searched all that hard but should I really have to beg a company to take my money?

It's an interesting idea. Having multiple players with similar stats is a good thing to me because it allows flexibility. We look back on M16 as the last great year round MUT, but the current pacing worked well enough for me. Sure, there's cards I would have liked to have upgraded that didn't get it (Earl Thomas) but this year had a huge pool of players to choose from. The theme team effect was fun for me but I know not everyone's favorite team has a good theme option. I guess I'm okay with the state of the game and plan on playing next year as well.

I think 4-500. I play year round but always stop spending after New Years day, and this has been my pattern since Madden 16. Some of it is laziness on my part and although I win my share of games, the 99 overall team does get beaten by NMS teams that are skillfully used. No regrets though, I still have fun.

Another data point that they had these cards planned out at launch. It seems unlikely that the expansions will go to players that had good seasons this year, but rather established names from the year before. I could see Marcus Peters, Richard Sherman, or Tre'Davius White getting in on this. Personally, I'd like to see the Black History Month cards get upgrades and think this is the way to do it.
