Any specific formations that are working (PS5)?

Agree with a lot of what you're saying here. This is my first year on PS5 and it's been mixed. Offence seems much easier - most drives result in a TD. Passing is easier. I was almost scared to pass on the PS4 against some opponents but not on PS5. That said, defence is very hard. It feels like whatever you adjust to stop you just get beaten by something else and it's usually something daft like the QB scrambling to the right and throwing to an open man across the field. The in-game menus (formation selection, play selection, audible selection, etc) are awful. They're slow and cumbersome and are actually causing me to come out with the wrong personal and call a timeout. Overall, it's very mixed.

Feels like they’ve given up on MUT. Astonishing lack of content right now.

Long time MUT vet here - been playing since Madden 14. What's really striking to me for the past few years is a complete lack of effort from the MUT team. Laziness, copy and paste, lots of mistakes. It really makes me think that EA are deemphasising MUT and simply don't care about it anymore. Maybe they know the game's up and they're going to have to shut it down soon? Maybe they're cooking something else up behind the scenes? Who knows but MUT honestly feels like an afterthought now.

How do you make sure it’s the PS5 version you’re downloading and not the ps4? Is it clearly marked?

I'm currently using a squad of all base elites because I put all my coins into RPs. My OVR is 86 and honestly they're holding up fine. Goes to show that something similar to 'even teams' is switched on in MUT. As such, I wouldn't stress about being NMS - just focus on abilities and play calling.

Same boat brother. Feeling the PS4 version is just the same game year on year now so thinking I might make the step up to the PS5.

Use it against run heavy players and on specific downs but don't use it all game long. Why do people seem to be obsessed with running the same defence all game long?!?
