I just received an email proclaiming me a winner. It gives a 16 digit code but the PSN requires a 12 digit code. What am I missing?

Several years ago, Madden 25 I think, I utilized this forum asking for help on how to get user picks with my MLB and received a detailed response on how to hold triangle, L2, and R2 at the same time and try to read the defense. It took time and felt like I was contorting my hands but for years now I've been able to do more than just rush with a defensive lineman which makes defense fun to play. Thus far in MUT 19 I have not had the same success, or any success for that matter. I am using the MUT Master Shazier and even when I read perfectly he makes no effort to make a play on the ball. Have the mechanics changed? Is Shazier terrible? Thanks for any help.
