The only thing I can say is try it, because as I said originally it could be purely coincidental but it could be something to do with the algorithm of OD.

As I've previously said the players weren't upgrades, most have been downgrades (Kickoff Luck to D Carr to RS Mahomes to Bortles at QB) so it's nothing to do with a boost in stats or boost in power. It's also very rare I play anyone with lower power than me so it's nothing to do with that either.

I've made Hall of fame every season and top 2500 last week to get the 86 Hunt, the changes haven't made any difference to my power, so I don't believe it's that. I was in a rut this morning so picked Bortles up (was previously using Mahomes rising star), managed to win 5 out of the 7 games I played with him to finally push me into Elite I (haven't played much this week and like many on here I had been rebounding between Elite II and III). I just find it strange that after every time I've swapped out a QB or a receiver I've gone on a decent win streak.

I saw another one of his 86 ones this morning (06:00am BST) , that had a bid of 616k on it with 8 minutes remaining, never saw what it sold for.

His TOTW card in last years game had the body type of a defensive lineman, EA just can't get him right.

If you've invested in Gurley then it's pretty short sighted, if you're a fan of the West Coast playbook why not use Scherff? O-lineman have little to no impact and his stats are pretty good anyway. Always look at the other captains before investing.

As far as I'm aware all boosts work that way, they benefit both players. If one is activated after another then it replaces that boost, so both players will be affected by the most recent boost used.

I love how everyone disregards Darius Leonard from the Colts, 18 tackles (15 solo), 1 pass defense, 1 sack and a forced fumble for a rookie is great. I'll be annoyed if he doesn't get a rising star or TOTW player.

Good luck bud, hopefully you and others who have stopped playing will come back at a later date. My favourite moment is pulling honours JJ Watt out of a pro pack a couple of years ago, managed to sell him for 22.5 million. It allowed me to get a 99 overall player at every position and I managed to give my brothers 4 million each too, best of all was the fact I got Watt back again two weeks later for 175k.
