My wife and I have this debate every time I drive. So question:   When is it considered beating a red light? A. If the traffic  light turns red right after you pass the line  B. If the traffic light turns red right after pass the light itself   I’ve always thought that you beat the red light if you pass the line before the light turns red—even if the light turns red before you’ve passed the light itself. She keeps saying that I’ve run a red light. Thoughts?
