I'm about 8 hours in. Definitely a let down so far. Graphically, I agree with most fans that the lack of more battle animations is disappointing. Battle backgrounds are pretty bland and bare. And there is wayyyyyy too much pop-up for a game that isn't graphically intensive. I don't mind the halved pokedex too much, but there are definitely some fan favorites that should have been included. I am also sick of following and battling the lame rivals. 3 gym battles and maybe 12 rival battles so far. The new Dynamaxing mechanic is annoying. I get Pokemon games for plain old battles. I never needed this mechanic or the mega evolution one either. I do enjoy the wild area and like this idea. I will say every attempt I've made to raid with people online has failed. The world is well-imagined as well. It's just too bad that so much has been stripped from what made me love Pokemon. Ultimately, this game is for fans and young kids just getting into it because of the low difficulty level. I would say wait for it to be on sale, but this game will never be less than $60 unless you see if for like $50 during the holidays. I'd give it like a 8/10 because I am enjoying it, I will finish it, I will play after becoming champion in order to make the perfect team, albeit somewhat begrudgingly.

Looking at his thread history, I believe in this decade he will be remembered as one of the greatest Muthead trolls. Even in the 2010's when trolling is most popular. I don't even like most of these trollers, but they're certainly better than most Muthead trollers, and Wonka will probably go down more known and dare I say, better regarded than almost any troller.

He was just on Joe Rogan with his son but I haven't watched yet. I guess that's what I'll start my day with.
